On 18 August, speaking at his meeting with the Managing Director of the CTTIC (China Transport Telecommunications and Information) Stones (Shanghai) Consulting Management Co., Ltd., the Partner of the CTTIC Fund Yang Qi-Ming on the sidelines of the III forum of Russia-China cooperation “ROSTKI” at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to his guest for participating in the forum.

He said that today the forum is a good platform for discussing interaction, meeting business partners and achieving concrete deals.

On 18 August, speaking at his meeting with the Director General of the Russian Post Mikhail Volkov on the sidelines of the III forum of Russia-China cooperation “ROSTCHI” at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the post office is one of key social facilities especially in the rural area. He stated the importance of supporting postal workers and informed that earlier the republic decided to allocate subsidies for additional payments to employees. 

On 17 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov went on a working trip to Yutazy region of the republic where, at his meeting with machine operators, heads of farms and  rural settlements and regional activists, the Head of the region Ayaz Shafigullin reported that the harvest of winter crops has been completed in the region, with spring crops harvest still going on with the average yield of 37.8 centners per hectare.

On 16 August, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference,  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that traditionally there will be various events held during the Day of the State Flag of Russia.

On 16 August, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about work being done in capital overhaul of schools, hospitals, cultural facilities and residential houses.

On 15 August during his working trip to Rybnaya Sloboda region the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with machine operators engaged in harvesting work, farm managers, investors and regional activists near the Settlement of Shelanka, where the Head of the region Radik Islyamov reported that farmers have already harvested 15 500 hectares or 50 per cent of the area, having threshed 58 200 tonnes of grain with the average yield of 38 centners per hectare. 

On 15 August during his working trip to Laishevo region the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov looked round the Narmonka agricultural farm where he got acquainted with the implementation of a vegetables growing investments project.  The project envisages increasing the irrigation area up to 1 700 hectares and growing no less than 60 thousand tonnes of potatoes and  field vegetables as well as creation of 26 new jobs. 

On 14 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin with the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan – the Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev.
