On 21 March, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated cultural employees and the staff of Russian National Guard Service with their upcoming professional holidays.

On 25 March Russia celebrates the Day of Cultural Workers and today there about 24 thousand of specialists in this branch in the republic, he informed and said: “One of the main tasks of the branch is to foster patriotism and respect in citizens for our great country and its rich history. Priorities for the current year include events dedicated to the Year of Military and Labor Valor, the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, as well as the 140th anniversary of the birth of the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai and the 120th anniversary of the Tatar professional theater. A landmark event was the assignment of Kazan the status of the cultural capital of the Islamic world, which opens up new opportunities for international cooperation and recognition of the cultural heritage of the republic.”

He congratulated workers and old stagers of the branch with their upcoming professional holiday, thanked them for their dedication to the vocation, high professionalism and contribution into the development of Tatarstan.

Rustam Minnikhanov also reminded that the Day of Russian National Guard Troop will be celebrated on 27 March and said: “The National Guards Directorate for Tatarstan is traditionally acknowledged one of the best in the country. National Guard personnel are honorably fulfilling their assigned tasks during the special military operation. We pay tribute to the courage of our soldiers, the bravery, and the fortitude of the Guardsmen who are helping to restore peaceful life in new regions. I express my gratitude to the personnel of the Russian National Guard Directorate for Tatarstan for their conscientious work, courage, loyalty to the oath, military traditions and the Fatherland, as well as for their contribution to ensuring law and order and national security.”
