On 23 January during their working trip to Zelenodolsk,  Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov and Russian Minister for Economic Development Maksim Reshetnikov visited a number of industrial facilities.

At the assembly and testing complex of the KazanCompressorMash Company the delegation looked round its production grounds and discussed with the GROUP GMS administration the progress of manufacturing of the cryogenic bog compressors and MR compressors with the capacity of 130 MW for large tonnage CNG production. 

On January 23, in the Kazan City Hall, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the foundation of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

Before the start of the event, Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the Directorate of the Russian Investigation Committee for the republic Valery Lipsky got acquainted with a thematic exhibition located in the hall.

Lipsky welcomed the ceremony participants.

On 23 January the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov and Russian Minister for Economic Development Maksim Reshetnikov accompanied by the Director General of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) (which is a part of the Rostekh State Corporation) Vadim Badekha, the Acting Director of the Tupolev company Yuriy Abrosimov, the Director of the Kazan Aircraft Plant Zufar Mirgalimov and other officials visited the Kazan Aircraft Plant (KAP) which is the branch of the Tupolev Company and part on the of the UAC.

On 22 January at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General of the Corporation Tourism.RF Sergey Krasnoperov discussed the implementation of the investment project of the development of the all-year-round resort “Kazan Marina” in Laishevo region of the republic.

On 22 January at the National Library of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the first meeting of the new VIII composition of Tatarstan Public Chamber which by a unanimous decision supported a candidacy of Aleksandr Terentyev who took the position of the new Chairman of the Chamber having replaced Zilya Valeeva who headed the organization since 2020.

From 2006 till 2022 Aleksandr Terentyev occupied various official positions at the Office of the President of the republic and in 2022-2025 worked at the Russian Federation Council.

On 22 January at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Russian Deputy Minister for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of Emergencies (Emergencies Ministry) Roman Kurynin and the Counselor for the Russian Minister of Emergencies Daniil Martynov discussed issues of interaction in improving the system of ensuring comprehensive security for residents and the territory of the region and also providing a modern level of technical and technological equipment for fire rescue forces.

On 21 January Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Chief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Viktor Demidov, the Head of the Security and Escort Department of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service Sergey Eliseev and other officials took part in  a resulting meeting of the Directorate of Federal Penitentiary Service for Tatarstan held in Kazan, which summarized results of operational, service, production, economic and financial activities of the penal system of the republic in 2025 and set tasks for the current year.

On 20 January in the evening Russian President Vladimir Putin called Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev and congratulated him with his birthday. During the conversation Vladimir Putin stated that he is happy to hear bright voice of Mintimer (Sharipovich) and wished him good health and all the best.

On 20 January, congratulating Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev with his birthday, the Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin wrote in his telegramme: “Being a famous and political leader, you have made a substantial contribution into modern development of Tatarstan and have earned the deep respect and gratitude of residents of the republic.

On 20 January at their meeting in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the Rostelecom Company Mikhail Oseevsky discussed issues of the development of cooperation, the Rostelecom being one of the largest communication operators in the republic. The Company provides communication and internet services in key cities of the region, namely Kazan, Naberezhnyye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and Ametyevsk with the subscriber base in Tatarstan of 72 thousand subscribers.
