On 3 April in the afternoon, upon his arrival to Khujand , the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov , who came on a working trip to Tajikistan (1-3 April 2025), was welcomed by the Deputy Chairman of the Sughd region Anvar Yakubi and the General Consul of Russia in Khujand Sergey Lankin.

On 3 April, speaking at his meeting with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon  and the Prime Minister of the republic Kokhir Rasulzoda in Dushanbe, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan attaches great attention to the development of cooperation with Tajikistan within the framework of traditionally friendly Russia-Tajikistan relations and thanked Emomali Rakhmon for their meeting on the sideline of the BRICS Summit in Kazan, where they agreed about a reciprocal visit.

On 2 April late at night the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived to Dushanbe – the capital of Tajikistan, where he plans to meet the leadership of the country, to have negotiations with the Administration of the Sughd region and to take part in the Tajikistan-Tatarstan business forum in Khujand.

A delegation of business circles of the republic arrived to Dushanbe on 1 April and already had negotiations in the Ministry of New Technologies and Industry of Tajikistan and had a meeting in the Russian Trade Representative Office where they were told about possible spheres of cooperation.

On 2 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Tsivilev took part in a business breakfast organized by the Novikom Bank on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Energy Forum Energoporm at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center.

Welcoming participants of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of the Novikom Bank Elena Georgieva said that the bank has been working with Tatarstan enterprises for more than 30 years. In December 2023 it signed a partnership agreement with the Government of the republic. “I sincerely wish colleagues to find necessary business bonds and new interesting projects which will be for the benefit of the Russian industry and the fuel and energy complex,” she said. 

On 2 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Energetics Sergey Tsivilev and the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan Daler Juma took part in a ceremony of opening Tatarstan Energy Forum Energoprom at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center.

 

On 2 April at their meeting on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Energy Forum Energoporm in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Tsivilev and the Administration of the Iranian Mapna Group Company discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and  prospects of using Mapna Group competences in implementation of potential projects in power industry. The Group in the largest producer of main power industry machines in Iran including gas and steam turbines, electric generators, boilers, electric systems and control systems.

On 1 April by an errand from the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhnov, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov came on a working trip to towns of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye where they got acquainted with restoration work progress at some facilities such as a school and a hospital catering unit. 
They also evaluated the work progress at the recovery work at the boiler house which supplies heat to social and residential facilities.

On 1 April at their meeting in Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to the Russia capital on a working trip, and the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin discussed issues of social and economic development of the region.
Speaking at the meeting, Marat Khusnullin stated: “The republic demonstrates continuously good results in many spheres. For example, in 2024 Tatarstan exceeded its record of 2023 having commissioned about 3.5m square meters of residential housing.” He also said that the region showed good results in moving people from dilapidated houses having moved 2 000 people last year.

 

On 1 April at a briefing held in Tatarstan Government House, the Director of the Investments Venture Fund of the republic Damir Galiev and the Director General of the Idea Technical Park Dias Safin told journalists about work progress in preparing the XIX Russian Venture Forum to be held on 9-11 April at the Kazan Expo.
They informed that in 2025 the forum will propose a renovated programme and the international speakers list, with the business programme comprising more than 50 events and 20 additional presentations in eight topical spheres. More than 260 speakers from Austria, Belarus, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Uzbekistan will take part in the discussions and the plenary session with the Russian Minister of Education and Science Valeriy Falkov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Director General of the RWK Anatoliy Braverman and other important officials expected to take part in it.

On 31 March, speaking at a regular meeting of the Association of Facilitating the Digital Development held at Kazan Federal University and which discussed prospects of the AI development in the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic must become the advanced Russian center in AI.
