Tatarstan Ministry of Construction: Housing construction plan in the republic has been fulfilled by 38 per cent - more than 1m 194 thousand square meters

On 21 March, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about the implementation of the housing construction programme, provision of housing for special categories of citizens, the progress of signing contracts and beginning of the work on construction of social and cultural facilities, public spaces and modernization of the engineering infrastructure.

He informed that the housing construction plan in the republic has been fulfilled by 38 per cent – with more than 1m 194 thousand square meters already commissioned and reported about fulfillment of the programme of providing housing for orphans, families with many children, young families and forced migrants from the far north and Chernobyl liquidators.

Marat Ayzatullin also reported about the progress of implementation of programmes of construction of social and cultural facilities, public spaces and modernization of the engineering infrastructure, construction of educational, medical and sports facilities, about work done in the spheres of ecology, youth policy and implementation of regional programmes in the spheres of construction of social facilities, improvement of public spaces and the federal project “Development of Comfortable Urban Environment”.

He told about eight federal and regional programmes being implemented in modernization of the engineering infrastructure of the republic and about the progress of the federal project “Modern Image of Rural Territories”.

In the end of his report Marat Ayzatullin informed about work carried out by self-regulated organizations and regulatory bodies to prevent violations of labor protection rules and regulations and 264 inspections organized by the State Construction Supervision and Inspection Service as well as 437 checks carried out by specialists of the Main Investment and Construction Directorate which revealed 924 violations in total, 770 of which have been removed already.
