On 23 July at their meeting in the Government House of the republic held with participation of the regional Minister of Education and Science and some rectors of universities of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of Russian Academy of Education (RAE) Olga Vasilyeva discussed issues of further development of the higher school, educational school standards and other topics important for the education system.

On 19 July, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that harvest is an important time in life of farmers when the main burden falls on combine and machine operators and a special attention should be attached to following labour safety regulations and working conditions of farmers, ensuring their timely quality food and decent wages.
