On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov listened to the performance of accordionists-participants of the “Play, the accordion!” Festival which is a festive procession of accordionists and amateur folk ensembles from Tatarstan and regions of Russia held annually since 1985.

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in a ceremony of unveiling a memorial plaque to the national writer of Tatarstan, the Honored Art Worker of RSFSR Tufan Minullin located on the façade of the house where the writer lived and dedicated to his 90th birthday. 

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in a festive event in the courtyard in Dementyeva Street improved by the regional Our Yard programme. 

On 30 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the Director of the Fund “Institute of Development of Tatarstan cities” Nailya Zinnatullina, the Director General of the Kazan Organic Synthesis Plant Ayrat Safin and other officials walked along   the improved boulevard on Serova Street in Kazan.

On August 30, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the opening ceremony of the park and unveiling the bust to the outstanding head of Kazan Giproniiaviaprom Research Institute Boris Tikhomirov.

On August 30, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the ceremony of unveiling the bas-relief to the Director General of the Kazan Engine Building Production Association (KMPO) Aleksandr Pavlov and a memorial stele dedicated to the history of the plant.

Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated everyone on the Day of the republic.

On 30 August in his address on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote:

“This day unites representatives of multiple ethnicities and confessions living in peace and concord in Tatarstan and our compatriots who serve valiantly, work and study beyond the republic. Wherever we are on 30 August this day unites us with the feeling of pride and love to the native home.”
In his address the Rais of the republic mentioned veterans of the WWII as in the current year Russia celebrated the 80th Anniversary of the Great Victory and participants of the special military operation who today fight for the future of the Motherland.

On 29 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Higher Education and Science Valery Falkov took part in a plenary session of the IV Kazan Global Youth Summit held in the new Kazan Tatar Theatre after Galiaskar Kamal and dedicated to the topic of “Education of personality in the epoch of global changes; value and career paths.”

On 29 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Higher Education and Science Valery Falkov had a meeting with delegates of the IV Kazan Global Youth Summit held in the new Kazan Tatar Theatre after Galiaskar Kamal and moderated by the Director of the Academy of Youth Diplomacy Dilbar Sadykova.

On 29 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Chief Mufti of the republic Kamil Samigullin visited the festive site of Mawlid an –Nabi - the ceremony dedicated to the birthday of Prophet Muhammad and organized by the monument to Tatar theologian Shigabutdin Marjani in the Old Tatar Settlement in the center of Kazan.
