On August 20, at their meeting at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut, who arrived on a working visit in the republic discussed key areas of development of regional agro-industrial complex. Tatarstan is one of the country's leaders in agricultural production.

On August 20, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Construction, Architecture and Utilities Sector Irek Faizullin discussed the issues of implementing regional and federal programmes in construction and housing and utility services in the region, as well as current tasks under the national projects.

On August 19, speaking at his meeting with the Chairman of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Sun Wei on the sidelines of the III forum of Russia-China cooperation “ROSTKI” at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Sun Wei for visiting Kazan to participate in the ROSTKI forum. He emphasized that Tatarstan is actively involved in developing cooperation between Russia and China.

On August 19, speaking at the plenary session of the III forum of Russia-China cooperation “ROSTKI” at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center in Kazan with participation of Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov, the Counselor of Russian President, Special Representative of the President for International Cooperation in the Sphere of Transport Igor Levitin, secretary of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Sun Wei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui and the Chairman of the Union of Chinese entrepreneurs in Russia Zhou Liqun, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that in recent years, China became a key foreign investor in the economy of the republic.

On 19 August, speaking at his meeting with the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Russia Zhang Hanhui held with participation of the General Consul of China in Kazan Xiang Bo on the sidelines of the III forum of Russia-China cooperation “ROSTKI” at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that lately relations of Russia and China have achieved an unprecedented level.  

On 18 August, speaking at his meeting with the Managing Director of the CTTIC (China Transport Telecommunications and Information) Stones (Shanghai) Consulting Management Co., Ltd., the Partner of the CTTIC Fund Yang Qi-Ming on the sidelines of the III forum of Russia-China cooperation “ROSTKI” at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to his guest for participating in the forum.

On 18 August, speaking at his meeting with the Director General of the China Chengtong International Investments Company Sun Bohui on the sidelines of the III forum of Russia-China cooperation “ROSTKI” at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to his guest for participating in the forum and his attention to Tatarstan. He said that today the forum is a good platform for discussing interaction, meeting business partners and achieving concrete deals.

On 18 August, speaking at his meeting with the General Secretary of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products Guo Kuilong on the sidelines of the III forum of Russia-China cooperation “ROSTKI” at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed his guest and stated that the forum is a good platform for discussing interaction, meeting business partners and achieving concrete deals.

On 18 August, speaking at his meeting with the Director General of the Russian Post Mikhail Volkov on the sidelines of the III forum of Russia-China cooperation “ROSTCHI” at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center in Kazan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the post office is one of key social facilities especially in the rural area. He stated the importance of supporting postal workers and informed that earlier the republic decided to allocate subsidies for additional payments to employees. 

On 17 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov went on a working trip to Yutazy region of the republic where, at his meeting with machine operators, heads of farms and  rural settlements and regional activists, the Head of the region Ayaz Shafigullin reported that the harvest of winter crops has been completed in the region, with spring crops harvest still going on with the average yield of 37.8 centners per hectare.
