On 29 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Higher Education and Science Valery Falkov took part in a plenary session of the IV Kazan Global Youth Summit held in the new Kazan Tatar Theatre after Galiaskar Kamal and dedicated to the topic of “Education of personality in the epoch of global changes; value and career paths.”

On 29 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Higher Education and Science Valery Falkov had a meeting with delegates of the IV Kazan Global Youth Summit held in the new Kazan Tatar Theatre after Galiaskar Kamal and moderated by the Director of the Academy of Youth Diplomacy Dilbar Sadykova.

On 29 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Chief Mufti of the republic Kamil Samigullin visited the festive site of Mawlid an –Nabi - the ceremony dedicated to the birthday of Prophet Muhammad and organized by the monument to Tatar theologian Shigabutdin Marjani in the Old Tatar Settlement in the center of Kazan. 

On 29 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Higher Education and Science Valery Falkov accompanied by the Rector of Kazan Federal University Lenar Safin and the Director of the Institute of Management, economics and Finances Alsu Akhmetshina visited a new building of the Higher School of Business of the University which was established in 2000 and is one of the leaders in the Russian business education market.

On 29 August in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Higher Education and Science Valery Falkov had a meeting with heads of foreign delegations of the IV Kazan Global Youth Summit which is the educational and expert platform for exchanging best practices of working with youth in the sphere of education, culture and mass media.

On 29 August at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Higher Education and Science Valery Falkov discussed issues of further interaction in the higher education system at a regional level, including the National ranking of the scientific and technological development of regions of the country (where Tatarstan came the third in 2024 after Moscow and St Petersburg) and other important topics.

On 29 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the President of the Russian Fencing Federation Ilgar Mammadov took part in a ceremony of opening the Fencing Center located on Korolenko Street in Kazan.

On 28 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the Executive Director of the State Housing Fund Marat Zaripov took part in an event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the fund, where he announced about launching a new regional housing programme which will make it possible for families of participants of the special military operation to buy apartments by the social mortgage.

On August 28, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of unveiling the bust to the participant of the World War II, the Soviet and Russian military commander, General of the Army Makhmut Akhmetovich Gareev, which was erected next to the multidisciplinary lyceum 188, not far from General Makhmut Gareev Street in Kazan. The author was a member of the Union of Artists of Tatarstan Fanil Valiullin.

On August 28, at the site in front of the main building of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Tatarstan Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the car keys and computer equipment to medical institutions of Tatarstan, namely 100 Sollers Atlant ambulances and 40 Lada Aura passenger cars.
