Chief of Staff of the Office of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan, the Chairman of the Dinamo Board Asgat Safarov congratulates athletes, coaches and old stagers with 100th anniversary of the establishment of Tatarstan Dinamo physical education and sports society

In his address dedicated to 100th anniversary of the establishment of Tatarstan Dinamo physical education and sports society, the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, who is also the Chairman of the Dinamo Board, congratulated athletes, coaches, fans and old stagers of the society with the event and wrote:” For its hundred years history every generation of Dinamo members has made its substantial contribution into the high achievements sport of the country. Regional Dinamo athletes have won more than 50 Olympic medals, about 200 athletes won world and European championships and regional Dinamo teams won 40 Russian championships in teams sport.” 

Having listed names of Olympic champions from the Dinamo in various kinds of sport, he continued: “Of course, the history of the large and glorious Dynamo family is closely intertwined with the history of our country. Having started a mass and nationwide sports movement, today Dynamo is the only public-state sports organization, operating in all regions of Russia and participating in solving state problems in the field of physical culture and sports.”

Asgat Safarov also gave numbers of adults and children doing sport in various sport sections and especially mentioned athletes and coaches who fought heroically on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1945 and forged the victory in the rear.

“Carefully preserving the traditions of national sports, currently the Dynamo Tatarstan, contributes to the development of high-performance sports and service-applied sports, support for mass, veteran, and youth sports and carries out active work in spiritual, moral and patriotic education of the youth.

I am confident that the legendary movement will continue to play a significant role in the sporting life of our republic and in the destinies of those who share the values ​​of the close-knit Dynamo family,” Asgat Safarov said and in conclusion wished everyone good health and prosperity as well as new sport achievements for the benefit of prosperity of Russia.
