At a resulting collegium of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization Rustam Minnikhanov gives an errand to adopt a programme on the development of AI by 2030 in the first three months of the current year

On 29 January, speaking at a meeting of the regional Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications, which summarized results of work of the Ministry in 2025 and set tasks for 2026, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov spoke about importance of the regional warning system.

He emphasized that the regional warning system is a matter of safety and there are competent specialists in the republic. “Today we have seen work being done in this sphere. I think it should be completed,” the Rais of the republic said.

“It is also necessary to carry on work with CCTV system in the streets as they help to ensure safety and without them we would not have solved many crimes. CCTVs help to ensure public order and respond quickly to incidents,” he emphasized.

Rustam Minnikhanov also gave an errand to adopt a programme on the development of AI by 2030 in the first three months of the current year. “Today digitalization is penetrating everywhere, we see this – culture cannot exist without digitalization and archival work cannot exist without it either,” he said.

The Rais of the republic thanked the Ex-Minister Ayrat Khayrullin who was also taking part in the collegium and said that many projects in the sphere of informatization started and were implemented on his initiative.

Rustam Minnikhanov also noted substantial work done by the regional Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov in the development and promotion of the Innopolis University and Special Economic Zone and in conclusion handed in a number of Tatarstan state awards to the most outstanding employees of the branch for their contribution into the development of informatization.
