On 9 April welcoming participants of a business forum Tatarstan – Chongqing, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to the town of Chongqing (China) on a working trip, expressed his gratitude to the Leadership of the country and the town for their attention to the development on inter-regional cooperation and an opportunity to organize the business forum and agree about new joint projects. 

 

On 9 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rutam Minnikhanov came on a working trip to the Town of Chongqing, China, which is considered to be the largest town in the world with the area of more than 82 thousand square kilometers and the population of about 32 million people. 

 

On 8 April at their meeting in Innopolis Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov and a delegation from the Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) headed by the Company’s Director General Aleksey Volin discussed possible spheres of their interaction.

On 7 April on the sidelines of the International Investments Forum in Abu-Dhabi the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Chairman of the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) Board of Trustees Sheikh Ebrahim bin Khalifa al Khalifa, whom he previously met in November 2024, when took part in a conference on Islamic Finances in Bahrain.

On 7 April on the sidelines of the International Investments Forum in Abu-Dhabi the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has a meeting with the General Secretary of Jordan Ministry of Investments Zaher al Qatarnehon,

On 7 April speaking at his meeting with the Ministry of Trade of Turkey, Co-Chairman of Russian-Turkish Inter-Governmental Commission Omer Bolat on the sidelines of the International Investments Forum in Abu-Dhabi, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We traditionally attach great attention to the development of trade, economic and investments cooperation with Turkey. Tatarstan is an efficient link between our countries.” 

 

On 7 April the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikjhanov took part in debates in the investments forum in Abu-Dhabi the topic of which was dedicated to the future of global investments. 
Speaking in the debates, the Rais of the republic reminded that Tatarstan has been a partner and participant of the event since the time of its establishment. “For us the forum is a platform for presenting investments opportunities of our republic, exchange of experience with foreign partners and setting up new contacts,” he emphasized. 

 

On 6 April in Abu-Dhabi the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to the United Arab Emirates to take part in an international investments forum, had a meeting with His Excellency the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, who had visited Kazan many times and took part in the Kazan Forum.

On 5 April, speaking at a meeting held in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that due to weather conditions agricultural enterprises have begun the spring field work earlier than usual.

He reminded that farmers are fertilizing winter crops which grow on 482 thousand hectares and perennial grass covering 368 thousand hectares.

On 5 April, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin reported about work progress in housing construction, programmes of ensuring accommodation to certain groups of citizens and other events.

Having told about cases of occupational injuries and checks of construction sites carried out in the first three months of the current year, Marat Ayzatullin said that 1m 473 thousand square meters of housing, including commercial, multi-apartment, social mortgage and individual houses,  have been already commissioned in the republic which makes 45 per cent of the planned.
