Rustam Minnikhanov meets Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey Mehmet Fatih Kajir

On 18 September in Istanbul  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working trip to Turkey, had a meeting with the  Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey Mehmet Fatih Kajir whom he thanked for his invitation to attend the festival of aviation, space and technologies “Technofest”.

Speaking at the meeting, the Rais of the republic said: “We traditionally attach big importance to the development of trade, economic and investments cooperation with Turkey, and Tatarstan is an efficient link between our countries.”

He reminded that Turkey has always been one of the leading foreign partners within the framework of Russia-Turkey relations and informed that the trade turnover between Tatarstan and Turkey doubled last year and made 5.3bn dollars US. 

In his turn Mehmet Fatih Kajir said that Turkey shows high interest in cooperation with Tatarstan.
