On 24 April, speaking at his meeting with the Founder and the Chairman of Enso Group Vinay Maloo in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude for the attention attached to the development of cooperation with the republic. He reminded that Tatarstan has gained an experience of interaction with India and there is a certain legal base of the cooperation for example the agreement between the Chamber of Commerce of the republic and the Confederation of Indian Industry.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular meeting of the Investments Council of the republic with some municipalities taking part in it via videoconference.

On 24 April Tatarstan Prime-Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a meeting of the Council of Mendeleevsk municipal region of the republic where the Head of the region Radmir Belyayev informed that he was leaving his position as he will continue his work in local self-government bodies of Nizhnekamsk region. 

On 24 April, at their in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov and Turkish ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) Deputy Chair Nihat Zeybekci, who is also a member of the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-the Islamic World” and who came to Tatarstan on a working trip, discussed issues taking part in a meeting of the Group and in the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum” to be held in May of the current year.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding which considered promising projects in oil and gas chemistry branch.

On 23 April, speaking at his meeting with Belarus’ Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the republic highly appreciates an opportunity of expanding interaction with Belarus within the framework of friendly Russia-Belarus relations. He stated that leaders of both countries actively support the development of bounds at the regional level.

On 22 April in the Moscow Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an expanded meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, who came to Russia on a state visit.
Before the start of the narrow-format conversation, there was a ceremony of an official meeting of the Sultan of Oman and the President of Russia, during which the Leaders of both countries introduced members of their official delegations and took official photos.

 

On 22 April during his working trip to Moscow the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Center “Professions of the Future, where Moscow Deputy Mayor for social development issues Anastasiya Rakova told him about the work of the Center.

“We are sure such projects are an investment into the sustainable economy and the labour market. And Moscow is ready to share this experience with other regions of our country,” she said and told how the Center helps schoolchildren to choose a vocation (there are testing and professional consultancy labs).

On 19 April, speaking at a solemn event dedicated to the Local Self-Government Day in Russia held at the Korston Recreation Center in Kazan, the Raid (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Local administration, being responsible for solving issues of every-day life of citizens has always played a big role in the governance system. Many state tasks from small to the most important ones are brought into life due to your work.” He expressed gratitude to all representatives of the local self-government of the republic for their fruitful and diligent work, for desire to create comfortable conditions for life and raising well-being of residents as well as for their continuous readiness to help people in various issues.

 

On 19 April, speaking at regional meeting in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that slightly more than two weeks are left till celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in Great Patriotic War (WWII) 1941-1945 and as a part of celebrations 8 227 war veterans have already been handed in jubilee medals dedicated to the Victory.
