On 22 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov visited Almetyevsk Tatar State Drama Theatre which was established in 1944. Today it is one of the most successful and well-known team of the republic performing plays by classics of Tatar and Russian literatures as well as works of modern authors. For all the years of its work the theatre staged more than 400 plays. 

On 21 May the Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Guoqing, who is the Chairman of the Chinese part of the Yangtze-Volga Cooperation Council, accompanied by Russian Presidential Envoy in the Volga region Igor Komarov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin laid flowers to the eternal Flame in the Victory Park in Kazan.

On 21 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Guoqing, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin, the Russian Presidential Envoy in the Volga region Igor Komarov and other participants of a meeting of the Interregional Yangtze-Volga Cooperation Council, visited the Rameev IT Park in Kazan. 

On 21 May in his welcoming speech to the participants of a meeting of the Interregional Yangtze-Volga Cooperation Council held by the Russian Presidential Envoy in the Volga region Igor Komarov and the Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Guoqing  with participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin at the Kazan City Hall,  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that for more than its ten year history such format has proved itself to be one of the most efficient mechanisms for the interregional interaction of Russia and China.

On 21 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a narrow format meeting of heads of delegations to the events of the V meeting of the Interregional Yangtze-Volga Cooperation Council held in the Kazan City Hall.

Opening the meeting, the Russian Presidential Envoy in the Volga region Igor Komarov cordially welcomed the Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Guoqing, who is the Chairman of the Chinese part of the Yangtze-Volga Cooperation Council and other members of delegations.

On 21 May in his address to residents and guests of the republic dedicated to the Day of the Official Adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated everyone with this event, “which is a landmark in history of Tatarstan and the Muslim Ummah of out multinational state. “

On 20 May upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Guoqing was welcomed by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Presidential Envoy in the Volga region Igor Komarov.

Tomorrow on 21 May the Deputy Premier of the State Council of China Zhang Guoqing will take part in the fifth meeting of the Interregional Yangtze-Volga Cooperation Council.

On 20 May at their meeting in Naberezhnyye Chelny the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Governor of Ulyanovsk region Aleksey Russkikh, who came to the republic to take part in a meeting of the Interregional Yangtze-Volga Cooperation Council in Kazan, discussed issues of interregional cooperation including joint work in industrial interaction between machine-building plants of the republic and the region.

On 20 May at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan its participants summarized the results of the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum-2025” held in Kazan on 13-18 May.

Speaking to journalists, the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic Shamil Gafarov said: “There were 8 500 participants including 500 representatives of Mass Media. These numbers show the growth of participants number by 5 per cent compared to 25% last year.  We also saw the growth of international participants, signed agreements and Ministers of foreign countries who visited Russia and Tatarstan during these days.”

On 19 May in Moscow the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the Governmental Commission for the development of small and average size entrepreneurship (SMEs) held by the Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mihsustin, who in his opening remarks reminded that currently Russia attaches the most important attention to the development of the SMEs.
