On February 25, on the sidelines of the International Scientific Conference “Dynamic Processes in the Chemistry of Organoelement Compounds,” which is widely recognized by the international scientific community, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part a solemn event marking the 70th anniversary of the Research Director of Arbuzov Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry, Academician Oleg Sinyashin.

On February 25, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the President of the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan Rifkat Minnikhanov and other officials paid a visit to the Arbuzov Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry, which was timed to coincide with the 70th anniversary of the Research Director of Arbuzov Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry, Academician Oleg Sinyashin.

Founded in 1945, the institute is the largest chemical research center of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Volga region. Its work encompasses both fundamental research and applied solutions addressing national and regional priorities. The institute currently employs 233 researchers and develops advanced areas including new pharmaceuticals and biomedical technologies, innovative materials and green chemistry.

On 24 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came on a working visit to the Republic of Abkhazia, and the President of the republic Badra Gunba looked round the Dioskuri Embankment which is under restoration in Sukhumi.

The work on the Embankment which is more than one kilometer long is planned to be completed by 1 June.

On 24 February upon his arrival on a working visit to the Republic of Abkhazia, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was welcomed by the President of the republic Badra Gunba.

On 23 February in his address to residents of the republic dedicated to the Day of Defender of Fatherland, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated everyone with the event and wrote: “On 23 February we pay tribute to all who have served and continue to serve the country, ensuring its sovereignty, and continuing its historical victorious traditions. Tatarstan is famous for its heroes who have fought bravely for our Fatherland at all times, demonstrated heroism and courage, and performed feats both at the front and in the rear. 

On 21 February, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the Council of Bugulma region which summarized results of its work in social and economic development in 2025 and set tasks for 2026 held in the Youth Palace of Bugulma. 

Before the beginning of the meeting, the Rais of the republic saw off trucks with humanitarian aid to sponsored territories and got acquainted with an exposition dedicated to achievements and plans of the development of Bugulma on the eve of its 250th anniversary. 

On 20 February participants of the regional “Batyrlar. Heroes of Tatarstan” programme which started in July last year and the aim of which is to adapt veterans of the special military operation to civil life and to use their unique experience, motivation and capacity in the system of state and municipal governance,  demonstrated their projects to the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.   

On 20 February upon his arrival to the Kazan Red Banner Higher Tank Command School of the Order of Zhukov (KHTCS) where he came to take part in organizing committees on results of events held during the Year of the Defender of Fatherland in 2025 and tasks for holding the Year of Military and Labor Valor in 2026, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov laid flowers to the stele “To Heroes – graduates of the KHTCS”.

On 20 February at an event held at the Kazan Red Banner Higher Tank Command School of the Order of Zhukov before meetings of organizing committees on results of events held during the Year of the Defender of Fatherland in 2025 and tasks for holding the Year of Military and Labor Valor in 2026, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in the Order Duslyk (Friendship) to the veteran of the Great Patriotic War (WWII)  Aleksey Komlev who celebrated his 100th birthday on 2 February. 

On 19 February the Rais (Head) of Tatrstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 18th session of the State Council of the republic of the VII convocation held by the Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, the agenda of which consisted of 24 issues, including 11 regional and five federal draft laws.
