On 20 November during his working trip to China the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited FAW Toyota Motor (Chengdu) Co., Ltd production site.

The CHINA FAW GROUP CO., LTD («FAW GROUP») Corporation is the first car manufacturing company in China ranking second in its FAW cars production volume and the first in large trucks amount , employing 3 200 people and having the total area of 455 thousand square meters.

On 20 November speaking at his meeting with the Secretary of the China Communist Party of Sichuan Province Wang Xiaohui, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked him for the welcome and stated that during the last years friendly relations of Russia and China have reached an unprecedented level and Tatarstan is making its contribution into strengthening them .

On 20 November the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a one-day visit to the City of Chengdu in Sichuan Province of China where he is planned to attend a number of companies, get acquainted with projects of the urban territories development and have official meetings. 

On 19 November at a briefing held in the Government House of Tatarstan representatives of Kazan Federal University informed journalists about celebrations of the 220th birthday of University, which was on 17 November when the staff got congratulatory letters from Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Rais of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov, and promising spheres of the university development.

On 18 November the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, the Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Nationality Affairs Stanislav Bedkin, heads of regional ministries and directorates, cities and regions and leaders of public national and cultural and religious amalgamations took part in a meeting of the Council of the Rais of the republic on inter-ethnic and inter-confessional issues held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Kazan Kremlin and dedicated to the topic” On Improvement of mechanisms of coordination of power bodies’ activities in social and cultural adaptation of foreign citizens”.

On November 18, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the plenary session of the XVII Forum «Tatarstan Business Partners» moderated by Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, the Chairman of the National Council of the Tatar World Congress Vasil Shaykhraziev held under the World Congress of the Tatars in Kazan on November 16-18 with participation of about 400 Tatar entrepreneurs from 60 regions of Russia and 14 countries of the near and far abroad (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Indonesia, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan.

On November 16, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Youth Forum Taha Ayhan discussed the cooperation in a number of areas, including the Strategic Vision Group “Russia-Islamic World”, as well as the development of youth contacts and projects, participation of youth of Tatarstan in relevant youth programmes of the institutes of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
