On 4 June, speaking at his meeting with the Governor of Novgorod Region Aleksandr Dronov on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “According to results of last year our trade turnover reached modest 1.2bn rubles,” and stated that the figures do not reflect the economic potential of Tatarstan and the Novgorod region at all, and expressed interest in significantly increasing them.

On 4 June at their meeting of the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk region Mikhail Kotyukov signed the Action Plan 2026-2028 on implementation of their agreement on cooperation in spheres of trade, economy, science, technology and culture.

On 4 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived to St Petersburg to take part in events of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, the business programme of which is dedicated to issues of global and Russian economy, social issues and the development of technologies.

On 3 June at their meeting in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the President of the Russian Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Union Sergey Fateev discussed issues of further interaction in promoting this kind of sports. It was stated at the meeting that mixed martial arts have always been of great interest to young people.

On 3 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Minister of economy of the republic Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, the Head of the Zelenodolsk municipality Mikhail Afanasyev, the Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights under the Rais of the republic Farid Abdulganiev and other officials visited the industrial park M-7 2.0. which is the first private park of the republic located in Zelenodosk region.

On 2 June in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the regional State Council Marat Akhmetov took part in an event dedicated to the defense of projects of members of the Personnel Reserve of the Rais of the republic aimed at social and economic development of Tatarstan. Mentors of the Reserve members who were assigned from the high rank leadership of the republic as well as Heads of regional power bodies were also present at the defense.

On 1 June in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva and the Head of the regional Unit of the All Russia Movement of the First Timur Suleymanov had a meeting with families of active members of the Movement of the First dedicated to June 1 - Children's Day.

On 1 June in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremonial opening of the Children's Festival which is a part of the Summer in Tatarstan project dedicated to the 1 June- the Children’s Day, where he got acquainted with activities proposed to children and talked to young residents of the republic.

In his welcoming speech, the Rais of the republic said: “Dear children, I congratulate you on two events at once, which are the Children’s Day and the start of the Summer in Tatarstan programme.”

On 1 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin and the regional Minister of Culture Irada Ayupova visited the Kazan State Young Spectators Theatre under restoration and reconstruction in Ostrovskogo Street and which is one of the oldest theatres in Kazan.

On 29 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an off-site meeting of the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management held in the republic by the First Deputy Chairperson of the Committee Natalya Komarova and which discussed the development of a municipal solid waste (MSW) management system in Tatarstan.
