Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expresses his condolences to all those who last their near and dear ones in a train crash in Bryansk region

On 1 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his condolences to all those who lost their near and dear ones in a train crash in Bryansk region.

“Tatarstan residents sincerely share the pain of loss with the relatives of the deceased. We wish a speedy recovery to the injured. Special words of support are to the parents whose children ended up in the hospital.” The Rais of the republic said.

Addressing the Governor of Bryansk region Aleksandr Bogomas, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “We share this difficult time with you, Alexander (Vasilyevich). Tatarstan is ready to provide the necessary assistance.”

Three days of mourning have been declared in the Bryansk region for the victims of the train crash when on the evening of May 31, a road bridge collapsed on the Vygonichi-Pilshino section in the Bryansk region. The debris fell on a passenger train running from Klimov to Moscow, killing seven people and injuring more than 70.
