Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in launching construction of two production sites in Zelenodolsk region

On 2 June the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the regional Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, the Head of Zelenodolsk region Mikhail Afanasyev and other officials took part in a ceremony of beginning the implementation of two projects, namely “Slavitsa Ice-Cream Plant” and the “Industrial-logistics complex of ultra-processed poultry” at the Industrial Park Tura 2.0 in Zelenodolsk municipality.

After the Chairman of the Krais State Corporation, who is also its Director General, Oleg Sukonschikov told about the launch of the Slavitsa project and the Director General of the Ak Bars Poultry Complex Sergey Andreev told about his project, Rustam Minnikhanov stated that these large scale projects will create new jobs and facilitate further development of economy of the region. 

The Slavitsa plant will have the capacity of up to 30 tonnes of ice-cream and 24 tonnes of confectionary a year and the ultra-processed poultry complex will make it possible to integrate transport flows from all sites of the Ak Bars holding.
