On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.

On 12 April in his address to Orthodox believers the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated them with the Easter and wrote: “Easter calls believers to spiritual transformation, love and mercy. Millions of Christians sincerely try to follow divine commandments – to keep their faith, to work constructively, to live in peace and harmony with others.

On 11 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarsan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 11th Moscow Youth Forum “Moscow-Tatarstan Bridge” held at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation by an initiative of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the republic in Moscow Ravil Akhmetshin.

 The Forum is a platform where its speakers, using their own experience, share with young people advice of how to choose a career, achieve success and answer questions from guests of the event. It is also a remarkable place for networking where you can get acquainted with interesting and useful people and set contacts.

Before the beginning of the Forum Rustam Minnikhanov talked to conscripts from the republic and also with famous prankers Vovan and Leksus (Vladimir Kuznetsov and Aleksey Stolyarov).

On 12 April at a regular meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave a number of errands.

“Tomorrow on 12 April the Orthodoxy are celebrating one of the important Christian Holidays – the Easter. I congratulate all believers! Traditional Easter services will take place in all cathedrals of the republic gathering big numbers of congregation. The corresponding services must take enhanced measures aimed at ensuring fire safety and maintaining public order in religious buildings and on their territories,” he said.

On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX  Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.

The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said. 

On 10 April, speaking at his meeting with the Chairman of the Turkey-Russia Business Council of the Committee of Foreign Economic Ties of Turkey (DEIK) İzzet Ekmekçibaşı held in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  stated that the republic attaches great attention to the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation with Turkish partners and is the effective link between Russia and Turkey.

On 9 April, speaking on a plenary session of the Russian Venture Forum “The Technological Leadership – investments into the Future” held with participation of the Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov, the Russian Presidential Aid Andrey Fursenko and the First Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Kolesnikov, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave high appraisal to projects represented at the Forum Exhibition.

Speaking about the Forum in the whole, he reminded that it has a federal status and thanked Andrey Fursenko, who is one of the Forum founders and Valeriy Falkov, who is the chairman of the Forum Organizing Committee, for their support and told how work with venture projects and innovations is organized in the republic.

On 9 April in his welcoming address to participants of the plenary session of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin emphasized that this event gives and opportunity for investors to exchange experience and breakthrough ideas.  “For 20 years the Forum has been uniting domestic and foreign investors, entrepreneurs and representatives of large corporations and the research and technologies community, opening opportunities for exchanging experience, breakthrough and promising ideas, best practices and tools for starting and scaling up one’s business,” he wrote.

On 9 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov, the Russian Presidential Aid Andrey Fursenko and the Executive Director of the Russian Venture Capital Association Albina Nikkonen took part in a ceremony of opening the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center on 9-10 April with participation of representatives of the innovational branch from more than 20 countries.

On 8 April at their meeting in Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov discussed issues of the development of the aircraft building branch and the programme of the technical re-equipment of the Kazan Aircraft Plant.
