On 20 May in the Kazan Executive Committee the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov listened to the presentation of a project, titled "People and Technology: A Unified Agenda for Kazan Digital Transformation" made by the Head of the Office of the Kazan Executive Committee Bulat Aleev.

On 20 May in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has a meeting with the Consul General of china in Kazan Mister Xiang Bo.

At the meeting the Rais of the republic handed in the Chinese Consul a state award of the republic – the medal “110years of the Establishment of TASSR” for the development of the social and economic potential of Tatarstan.

On 18 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with his spouse visited the Tatar State Theatre after Galiaskar Kamal in Kazan where they watched the play “There was a house” staged by the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre.

The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and his wife also attended the performance of the play.

On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.

Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.

 

On 17 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of opening the Izge Bolgar Zhyene Holiday held in the Ancient City of Bolgar and dedicated to the Day when Volga Bulgaria officially adopted Islam in 922, which plaid a decisive role in the diplomatic recognition of Volga Bulgaria and expanded the borders of the Islamic world to the Middle Volga.

On 16 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the second meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Mali commission for trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation held by the Chairman of the Commission, the Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Tsivilev in the Kazan City Hall.

On 16 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Deputy Secretary General of the UN and the High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Miguel Angel Moratinos took part in the in the plenary session of the ХVI Forum of Tatar religious leaders ”National Identity and Religion” held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center and moderated by the Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Vasil Shaykhraziev, who is the Chairman of the National Council of the World Tatar Congress.

On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.

On 15 May, speaking at his meeting with the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  at the Kazan  Expo Exhibition Center, the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Abdulla ogly Mustafayev  congratulated him with the successful holding of the International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum".

On 15 May, speaking at his meeting with a delegation from Egypt headed by the Minister of Industry of the country Khaled Hashem Maher on the sidelines of the International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic world: KazanForum” held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked his guests for their interest to the Forum and in the whole for the interest to mutually beneficial cooperation.
