On 9 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov and Saudi Arabia Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih.

Speaking at the meeting, the Rais of the republic emphasized the importance of cooperation with Saudi Arabia for Tatarstan within the framework of relations of our countries. He also stated that representatives of Saudi Arabia are in the group of active participants of the Russia-the Islamic World Strategic Vision Group.

On 9 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a tour round the International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Saudi Arabia” and in the main plenary session “Energy of cooperation: innovations for the industrial future”.

In his speech he thanked the hosts for the excellent organization of the event and the opportunity to present the products of Tatarstan companies at an international venue.

On 9 February, speaking at his meeting with His Highness Prince Nayef Al Saud, who is also the Chairman of the Board and a strategic partner of a number of companies, including Durah Al-Fodah General Contracting Company, AlMunifat International Distinguished Oil and Gas Company and others, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the importance of cooperation with Saudi Arabia for Tatarstan within the framework of relations of our countries.

In his address on the occasion of the Russian Science Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated scientists, researchers and lecturers of the republic with the event and wrote: “Science has always been and remains one of the main driving forces of progress and foundation for the development of economy, social sphere and education. Due to your talent, work and dedication to your vocation Tatarstan occupies the leading positions in many scientific spheres starting from petrochemical and IT technologies to biotechnologies and materials engineering. Today, based on glorious traditions of Russian and Tatarstan scientists, you are making a substantial contribution into ensuring scientific and technological sovereignty of Russia and solve the most important tasks of import replacement, digitalization and sustainable development.

On 7 February, speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin with all municipalities  taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported about the condition and prospects of development of the reclamation complex of the republic.

On 7 February at a regular meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic with the Day of the State Emblem of the republic which was approved in 1992.

He emphasized that the Emblem symbolizes the republic and its main element - The Snow Leopard is well known both in regions of Russia and outside it. “I congratulate everyone with the memorial date. It is one of the important state symbols of the republic and a source of pride for the entire multinational people of Tatarstan,” the Rais of the republic said.

On 7 February at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the People’s Artist of Russia Yevgeniy Mironov, who is the Head of the State Theatre of Nations, discussed further development of cooperation in the spheres of culture and implementation of joint projects in the republic.

On 6 February, speaking at a collegium of Tatarstan Ministry of Land and Property Relations which discussed results of work of the Ministry in 2025 and set tasks for 2026, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated participants of the meeting with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry and said:” The service has been established and I think it is very important work. Tatarstan managed to maintain its potential and not to mucker it away. Everything there is in the republic must serve the interests of the republic.”

On 6 February on a ceremony dedicated to the Day of Russian Science in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov handed in state awards to winners of the state prizes of the republic in the field of science and technology and outstanding scientists of the republic.

Speaking at the ceremony the Rais of the republic emphasized that in recent years the scientific and educational complex of Tatarstan has demonstrated positive development dynamics and a significant breakthrough was achieved in a number of key parameters. Thus, funding for science has tripled over the past five years and the number of research personnel has reached a record high. He thanked the Russian President, the federal Government and Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education for supporting regional initiatives.

On 6 February the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an extended meeting of the collegium of the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the republic which discussed results of work of the Ministry in 2025 and set tasks for 2026.

Before the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov and persons accompanying him got acquainted with an exposition dedicated to work of the Ministry and the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the State Committee of Tatar SSR on state property management.
