On 20 April,  at his meeting with the Hokim of Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan Murotjon Azimov on the sidelines of the “INNOPROM. Central Asia”, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan makes a substantial contribution into strengthening ties between Russia and Uzbekistan. Cooperation between regions makes it possible to expand the range of goods delivered, he said.

On 20 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the main plenary session “Technological hubs – the new industrial landscape” at the “INNOPROM. Central Asia” international exhibition held with participation of about 500 companies from Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Azerbaijan and other countries in Tashkent. 

On 20 April, speaking at his meeting with the Uzbekistan Prime-Minister Abdulla Aripov in the Government House in Tashkent, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that a big delegation from Tatarstan has arrived to the International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia”. “We consider the exhibition to be an important platform for strengthening cooperation with countries of Central Asia and first of all with brotherly Uzbekistan,” the Rais of the republic emphasized. 

On 19 April in the evening, upon his arrival to the Tashkent International Airport to a working trip to Uzbekistan, The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was welcomed by the Uzbekistan Minister of Energy Jurabek Mirzamahmudov.

On 18 April, speaking at a regular meeting in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov urged residents of the republic to take active part in the All-Russia online-voting for choosing public spaces to be improved next year.

He emphasized that using the United Portal of state services, residents can themselves define parks, gardens and other facilities to be improved and gave an errand to organize work to widely inform citizens about the voting process.

On 18 April, speaking at a regular meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed that on 21 April Russia will celebrate the Local Self-Government Day and emphasized that today the municipal community of the republic is a big and united team of managers, employees and public activists.

On 18 April, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov reported about the progress of spring field work, repairs of forage harvesters and provision of vegetable seeds to farmers. He said that all regions of the republic started fertilizing winter and perennial herbs, having completed 190 thousand and 60 thousand hectares accordingly.

On 17 April in the Kazan Kremlin the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minikhanov had a meeting with a delegation of diplomatic missions of foreign countries to Russia held with participation of representatives of embassies of China, Brunei, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand and Philippines .

Speaking at the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the Russian Foreign Ministry for having organized the trip of the delegation to the republic and emphasized that international cooperation is one of the key factors of the sustainable development and prosperity of countries and regions.

On 16 April, welcoming his guests at a meeting with Russian cosmonauts Aleksandr Kaleri, Yuriy Usachev and Rafail Murtazin in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minikhanov said: “It is a great honor for us to welcome such respected people – Russian cosmonauts – to the republic.”

On 16 April at their meeting in the Kazan Kremlin held with participation of the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the Plenipotentiary representative of the republic to Turkey Ayart Gataullin and other officials, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Polymeks holding Erol Tabanca discussed further development of cooperation and implementation of promising projects.
