On 3 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the International Automotive Exhibition “Auto China 2026”, which opened at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) and the Capital International Exhibition Center of China in Beijing on 24 April.

The Auto China 2026 (Beijing International Auto Show) is one of the largest and most authoritative branch events of the world level.

On 1 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov, the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov reported about progress of spring field work and results of cattle-breeding in the first three months of the current year.

On 1 May, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic made a big contribution into the Great Victory and noted that next week we will be celebrating the main holiday- the Day of the Victory of Soviet People in the Great Patriotic War (WW II). “81 years ago, at the cost of incredible efforts, our grandfathers and great-grandfathers won the bloodiest war in history. Out of 700 thousand residents of the republic, who went to the front, the half did not come back and 353 people were awarded the high title of the Hero of the Soviet Union. From the very beginning of the war enterprises of the republic and our rural workers were actively involved in the work of fulfilling military orders and providing the front with everything necessary,” he said.

On 1 May, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic with the Day of Spring and Labour - May, 1 and said: “This holiday symbolizes respect to a labouring man and coming of spring and renovation of nature. All the successes and achievements of the country and the republic, which we are rightfully proud of, are the result of the selfless work of many generations of our compatriots.”

On April 29, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, visited the Center of Unique Craftsmanship (CUC), which officially opened its doors to visitors today and is located in the renovated building of the former Central Department Store (2 Moskovskaya Street).

The modern CUC is a strategic project aimed at preserving and further developing the cultural identity of Tatarstan. The entire building space is dedicated to workshops, creative master classes and exhibition areas. The venue also includes a gastronomic sector and halls for events.

On April 29, in the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an awarding ceremony dedicated to the celebration of May Day and Victory Day on May 9 and handed in state awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan to distinguished residents of the republic.

On 28 April at their meeting in the Government House of the republic held with participation of the Chief of Staff of the Office of the regional Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov, the Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin,  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  and  the People’s Artist of Russia, the founder of the International competition “New Wave” Igor Krutoy discussed a number of issues of the festival preparation and holding.

On 28 April at their meeting in the Government House of the republic,  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General,  the Chairperson of the MTS Company Board Inessa Galaktionova discussed issues of the operator developing communication infrastructure in the republic and a number of digitalization projects.

On 27 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Head of the Glavgosexperiza (the General Directorate of State Expertise) of Russia Igor Manylov and representatives of the Rostec State Corporation and the Russian Engineering Union of took part in a ceremony of handing in B. Tikhomirov Award in Moscow. The Award was established in memory of the outstanding Soviet and Russian designer Boris Tikhomirov by the Russian Engineering Union with the support of Russian Ministry of Construction and the Government of Tatarstan in 2022 and is awarded annually on a competitive basis to employees of the construction industry for projects that make a significant contribution to the design and construction of industrial facilities and the implementation of advanced engineering solutions.

On 27 April at their meeting in Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who came to the Russian capital on a working trip, and the Head of the Federal Agency for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Sergey Dankvert discussed issues of further interaction in the sphere of veterinary supervision, cooperation in controlling security and quality of produce manufactured in the region.
