On 23 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the regional deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva took part in a meeting of the Council for Culture and Art where the keynote speaker the Minister of culture of the republic Irada Ayupova told about what has already been done and about infrastructural and educational projects to be implemented for shaping the cultural environment of the republic, giving important place to national identity.

On 23 April in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a regional meeting of fiscal, treasury and tax bodies which considered results of the fulfilment of the consolidated budget of the republic in the first three months of 2026 and set tasks till the end of the year .

Speaking at the meeting, the Rais of the republic stated that the amount of revenues into the consolidated budget of the republic made 147.4bn rubles which is 22 per cent of the year plan, with own income having amounted to 135.4bn. The decrease in own revenues compared to the previous year amounted to 4.7 billion rubles. The main reason was a decrease in income tax payments compared to the first quarter of last year by 13.6 billion rubles, he informed.

On 22 April at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhnov and the President of the Marathon Group Investment Company Aleksandr Vinokurov, who is also the Chairman of the Russia-UAE Business Council discussed current issues of the development of cooperation of the republic and the Marathon Group and a broad range of interaction spheres. In particular they discussed issues of the retail trade development, cooperation in sports including weightlifting.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget,  he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.

On 21 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Bukhara Industrial Development Complex which is being implemented with the support of the republic.

Today all facilities at the industrial park have been built and put into operation with a waterproofing membrane production 

On 21 April at their meeting in Navoiy the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Hokim of Navoiy region Normat Tursunov discussed progress of implementation of the industry development complex, where Tatarstan plays the role of the project implementation consultant. Currently the first industrial building has been put into operation and it is planned to complete and put into operation a number of units of the second building.

On 21 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived to Navoiy and visited sites of the industrial park of the Navoiy Special Economic Zone. The park has a territory of 564 hectares and is located close to one of the most industrialized cities of Uzbekistan.

On 20 April at his meeting with the Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov warmly welcomed the Leader of the country and thanked him for his personal attention to the development of cooperation with Tatarstan. “The trade and economic cooperation of Uzbekistan and the republic is developing progressively. Last year our trade turnover demonstrated the growth by 13.5% and exceeded 427m dollars US,” he said. 

On 20 April,  at his meeting with the Hokim of Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan Murotjon Azimov on the sidelines of the “INNOPROM. Central Asia”, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan makes a substantial contribution into strengthening ties between Russia and Uzbekistan. Cooperation between regions makes it possible to expand the range of goods delivered, he said.

On 20 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the main plenary session “Technological hubs – the new industrial landscape” at the “INNOPROM. Central Asia” international exhibition held with participation of about 500 companies from Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Azerbaijan and other countries in Tashkent.
