On 27 March, speaking at a ceremonial event dedicated to celebrations of the Day of Russian National Guard held at the Kazan City Hall with participation of the Chief of the Office of the Staff of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov, heads of law-enforcement bodies of the republic and veterans and employees of the territorial Directorate of the National Guard, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that  the Russian National Guard Directorate for the republic Republic of Tatarstan is traditionally acknowledged as one of the best in the country.

On 26 March Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a meeting of the Council by the Russian Presidential Envoy in the Volga Federal District dedicated to rural demographic policy held by the Russian Presidential Envoy in the District Igor Komarov in Nizhniy Novgorod with participation of heads of federal ministries concerned, representatives of the Federal Assembly and heads of federal entities of the Volga Federal District. The participants of the meeting discussed such topics as the demographic situation, implementation of federal programmes and the best regional practices, and the results of the meeting will be used for preparing comprehensive solutions of such tasks set by Russian President Vladimir Putin as preservation of the population, strengthening health, raising prosperity of people and supporting families.

On 24 March, speaking at a briefing on achievements of preventive medicine last year and plans for 2026 held in the Government House of the republic, representatives of Tatarstan Healthcare Ministry said that medical check-ups are proving their effectiveness in preserving the health and lives of residents of the republic.

Thus the regional Healthcare Minister Almir Abashev informed: “Over the past five years, a clear course has been set to ensure that preventative medicine in the country gains momentum. Starting from 2022 the number of people who should have their medical check-ups in this or that year is growing. We are facing a task of covering more than 70 per cent of elderly people with check-ups by 2030.”

On 21 March the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a traditional meeting with the Ak Bars team before the beginning of the Gagarin Cup 2026 Continental Hockey League play-off games.

Speaking to players and coaches of the team, the Rais of the republic said: “AkBars hockey team is our pride and hockey has a special meaning in the republic.”

On 21 March, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Head of the Directorate of the Urban Environment Development Programmes of the Fund “The Institute of the Development of Tatarstan Cities” Arina Petrova reported about the implementation of the Our Yard programme in 2026.

On 21 March, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about the implementation of the housing construction programme, provision of housing for special categories of citizens, the progress of signing contracts and beginning of the work on construction of social and cultural facilities, public spaces and modernization of the engineering infrastructure.

On 21 March, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated cultural employees and the staff of Russian National Guard Service with their upcoming professional holidays.

On 21 March, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated that the International Forest Day is celebrated today and informed that more than 2 300 residents of the republic work in this branch today providing daily conservation, protection and restoration of forests.

On 20 March the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a festive prayer on the occasion of the Eid al-Fitr held in the renovated wooden mosque of the Aybash Village in Vysokaya Gora region of the republic. This is one of the main Muslim holidays marking the end of the Lent during the holy month of Ramadan and in the beginning of the prayer the Chairman of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of the republic, the Chief Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil Samigullin read out a congratulation from Russian President Vladimir Putin, who stated that Russian Muslims deeply respect historical and spiritual traditions of their ancestors. “Special words of gratitude are to followers of Islam who  fight shoulder to shoulder with their comrades in arms for the freedom and independence of the Motherland, and provide support to the families and friends of the heroes,” Vladimir Putin wrote. 

On 19 March in his address on the occasion of the Eid al-Fitr holiday and the end of the Holy month of Ramadan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic and compatriots with the holiday and wrote: ”This sacred holiday which marks the triumph of faith, spiritual perfection, mercy and compassion fills the hearts of Muslims with joy and creative energy throughout their lives. During Lent, believers strictly followed the precepts of goodness, performed good deeds, and showed concern for their neighbors. And today, with special zeal, we turn to the Almighty with prayers of thanksgiving, in which we ask for the bestowal of health, well-being, and prosperity for our native republic.
