On 11 May at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General of the Rosagroleasing Company Pavel Kosov discussed issues of further development of cooperation in the sphere of the development of agribusiness in the republic and improving the technical equipment of agricultural enterprises.

On 11 May at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and a shareholder of the Khvoya Company Igor Kim discussed promising spheres of cooperation including the implementation of the investment project on building a year-round resort “Kazan marina” in Laishevo region of the republic. The Khvoya Company has experience in creating park hotels and thermal complexes.

On 10 May during his working trip to Rybnaya Sloboda region, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of opening a new multifunctional center in the Anatysh Village.

On 10 May, after having flown round fields of Rybnaya Sloboda region and having seen the sowing campaign progress, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with heads of settlements of the region, where the Head of it Radik Islyamov reported that in the current year it is planned to sow 33 thousand hectares, with sowing already completed on 27 per cent of the area.

On 10 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov came on a working trip to Tyulyachi region of the republic to get acquainted with the spring field work progress and to have meetings with farm machinery operators, heads of farms, rural settlements and active residents of the region.

The Head of the region Ayrat Fatkhullin reported that currently the sowing has been completed on 28 per cent of the fields and emphasized that the region is provided with everything necessary for spring field work – there are enough seeds as well as fuel for agricultural machinery and equipment.

On 10 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Head of the Main Directorate for Ensuring Public Order Protection and Coordination of Interaction with Executive Authorities of the Entities of the Russian Federation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Lenar Gabdurakhmanov, the Chief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Viktor Demidov, the Chief of Staff of the office of the Rais Asgat Safarov, the Deputy Internal Minister for Tatarstan Aleksey Sokolov and other officials, relatives and friends, took part in  a ceremony of lying in state of General Renat Timerzyanov held in the Pushkin Concert Hall in Kazan.

On 9 May, Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and veterans of the WW II and participants of the special military operation took part  at a ceremonial reception on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War held in the Kazan Kremlin.

On 9 May the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and other high rank officials took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the Eternal Flame of the colonnade of the Glory Memorial in the Victory Park in Kazan.

On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.

On 9 May in his address on the occasion of 81st Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II), the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic, combat soldiers and home front workers with the Victory Day and said: “This holiday personifies courage, unity and unbending will of our multiethnic people and occupies a special place in life of each of us, evoking the most tender feelings.

The Victory Day reminds us about the most difficult trials that fell to the lot of our ancestors, the history of heroic overcoming and the triumph of fortitude. We are deeply grateful to the generations of victors, who resolutely and selflessly defended the freedom and independence of the Motherland.
