On April 2, on the sidelines of the International Electric Power Forum Energoprom-2026 held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan Daler Juma Daler Juma, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan.

On April 2, at their meeting at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre on the sidelines of Kazan International Energy Forum “Energoprom” and related events, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Viktor Karankevich exchanged views on a number of topical issues, including prospects for further cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.

On April 2, on the sidelines of the International Energy Forum "ENERGOPROM-2026", the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Tsivilev took part in the signing ceremony of several cooperation agreements, namely a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Energy of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, as well as a memorandum of understanding between the Kyrgyz Ministry of Energy and the international consortium "Alterna Invest".

On 1 April at their meeting in the Kazan Kremlin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Kyrgyzstan Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev, who came as a Head of the delegation to take part in the International Electric Power Forum Energoprom-2026, discussed the development of mutually beneficial ties and cooperation.

On 1 April in the Kazan Kremlin, speaking at his meeting with the Uzbekistan Minister of Energy Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, who came on a working trip to Kazan to take part in the International Electric Power Forum Energoprom-2026, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minikhanov stated that cooperation of the republic with Uzbekistan is developing dynamically every year, with new projects being implemented, the existing contacts expanding and mutual visits taking place. He also reminded that Uzbekistan President Shavkat Miziyoyev visited Tatarstan twice in 2024.

On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.

In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”

On 1 April at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko, who came on a working trip to Kazan, discussed issues of the development of regional healthcare system, its further improvement and training of high qualified medical specialists.

On 31 March at their meeting in Moscow held with participation of the Metropolitan Kirill of Kazan and Tatarstan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working trip in the capital of Russia, and the Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia expressed their deep concern with an accident which took place in Nizhnekamsk, having emphasized that currently everyone is praying for the health of the victims.

On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 31 March the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation (Rosaccreditation) Dmitry Volvach took part in a plenary session of the XIV All Russia Meeting of Entrepreneurs from Tatar villages held in the Korston Leisure and Recreation Center in Kazan on 29-31 March with participation of  about 900 representatives of small business, farmers and private farm owners from 37 regions where Tatars live in compact settlements.
