On 30 May, welcoming participants of a plenary session of the 27th annual All-Russia conference “State regulation of drugs circulation - PharmMed Obrascheniye-2025 “held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center and moderated by the Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare Alla Samoylova, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin stated that the conference is an important and meaningful event for the whole healthcare system. ”I am sure that the information you receive here will be used in your activities. I wish all participants of the conference fruitful work, new interesting ideas and success,” he said.
After he read out a welcoming speech of the the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to participants and organizers of the conference, the Russian Healthcare Minister Mikhail Murashko stated in his video welcoming speech that issues of providing quality, efficient and safe drugs to citizens are always under close control of the state. “Today more than 550 pharmaceutical productions work for the benefit of the state. In 2024, 6 billion packages of medicinal products were released into civil circulation, 70% of which were domestically produced. 82% of drugs registered over the last 3 years are domestically produced or localized in Russia”, the Minister informed.
He attracted attention to the fact that the Russian drugs market has become more transparent. “Today we have methods of protection against counterfeit and falsified goods, and this is thanks, among other things, to the carried out control and supervisory measures. We have started to apply a risk-oriented approach for control and surveillance which makes it possible to concentrate resources on high risk zones to prevent harm and decrease load on conscientious organizations,” Mikhail Murashko added.
Participants of the conference discussed issues of drugs circulation, pharmaceuticals quality expertise and testing, the development of pharmaceutical education in the country and other issues related to medicinal products and their circulation.
