On 10 May Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited a perennial grass seed cleaning plant located in Leninogorsk municipality. The plant was launched in 2020 and in the following two years, having developed a technology of cleaning seeds of such grasses as fescue, buckwheat, canola flower, oil linen, chia and many others and with the capacity of 3500 tonnes of seeds a year, it cleaned about 2 000 tonnes of seeds in 2021.

On May 10, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Leninogorsk municipal region to get acquainted with the spring sowing campaign, visit a number of agricultural enterprises and meet heads of farms, investors and heads of settlements of the region.

Upon arrival, Minnikhanov accompanied by the head of the region Ryagat Khusainov and Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov, visited Victoria greenhouse complex, which has been operating since 2019.

On 9 May Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov joined the Immortal Regiment march held in Kazan and carried a portrait of his uncle Galimzyan Minnikhanov who went to the front at the age of 19 and died game in the mortal battle near Moscow on 15 December 1941. The son of the President, Iskander was also taking part in the march carrying a portrait of his grandfather Bariy Safiullin.

On 9 May the Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev joined the “The Immortal Regiment Online” action having published the portrait of his father Shagisharip Shaimiev, who was drafted in 1941 and fought at the forefront near Moscow. In 1942 after serious injury he was invalided out of the army and for the next 25 years worked as the chairman of the collective farm in his native village of Anyakovo.

On 9 May, speaking at a ceremonial reception in the Kazan Kremlin dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the victory in WWII and with participation of the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev , Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that there is hardly any family in Russia which was not affected by WWII. 

On 9 May Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and WWII veterans took part in a celebratory parade dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the victory in WWII 1941-1945 held in Kazan.

On May 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov laid flowers at the Eternal Flame of the Colonnade of the Glory Memorial in the Kazan Victory Park.

Tatarstan State Counsellor, Hero of Labour of Russia Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the veterans of the World War II took part in the ceremony.

The anthems of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan were played.  

On May 9, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin laid flowers at the military burials of the World War II at the Arsk cemetery in Kazan.

Pesoshin welcomed the war veterans who arrived at the ceremony and congratulated them on the Great Victory Day.

On 8 May in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the regional organizational committee on celebrations of the 1100 years of adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria. The State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and heads of various ministries, departments and municipalities of the republic also took part in the meeting where Rustam Minnikhanov underlined that according to the decree of the Russian President Vladimir Putin the celebrations of the 1100 years of adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria are held at the national level with a number of events to be organized in Tatarstan and other entities of the country.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has signed a decree on conferment of title of The Enterprise of Labour Valor in 1941-1945 to 14 enterprises of the republic, including:

Kazan Aircraft Plant after Gorbunov, Kazan Helicopter Plant, Kazan Engine-building Production Association, Kazan Optical and Mechanical Plant, Kazan State Gunpowder Plant, the State Chemical Products Research Institute , the Plant after Sergo Industrial Amalgamation, Zelenodolk Plant after Gorkiy and others.
