Vasil Shaykhraziev meets the сhairman of the jury of the Kazan Film Festival Vladimir Khotinenko

On September 7, at the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Kazan Film Festival Vasil Shaykhraziev had a meeting with film director, People's Artist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Khotinenko.

This day, the capital of Tatarstan will host the opening ceremony of the 18th Kazan International Muslim Film Festival, where Khotinenko chairs the jury.

Shaykhraziev thanked Khotinenko for his attention to the Festival. He emphasized that the geography of the participants of the Film Forum has expanded: this year over 600 applications from 44 countries of the world were received. Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan expressed confidence that the festival will be remembered for its creative achievements, and will contribute to strengthening peace and mutual understanding.

The meeting participants also discussed the issues of further cooperation in culture, the implementation of joint projects, including those aimed at developing the creative potential of young people.
