On 23 May Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a presentation of a book entitled “Farid Mukhametshin. Curves of life” organized in the National Library in Kazan.

The book was published to the 75th birthday of the Chairman of the State Council of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin and such prominent guests as the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, the member of the Russian State Duma Oleg Morozov, the Chief Federal Inspector for Tatarstan Viktor Demidov, Director General of the KAMAZ Automaker Sergey Kogogin and Director General of the Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov as well as the Chairman of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev took part in the presentation ceremony.

On 23 May at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of the JSC Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern (KRET) Aleksandr Pan discussed current work of Tatarstan enterprises which are a part of the concern, considered issues of industrial capacity modernization and prospects of cooperation between the KRET and the republic in civilian production (medical devices, electric charging stations and etc.).

On 23 May at his meeting with the Ambassador of Sierra Leone to Russia Mohamed Yongawo in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic highly appreciates possibility of developing cooperation with Sierra Leone within friendly Russian-Sierra Leonean relations.

On May 22, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic, with participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said that trends in indicators in the labor market are characterized as relatively stable. The unemployment rate is on average 2.3 percent in the republic (4.2 per cent on average in Russia).

Shagiakhmetov also said that the situation in the food market of the republic is stable.

On May 22, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov discussed topical issues of the education system, preparation for the state final certification of educational programmes of secondary general education and other issues.

On 21 May Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev , the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin, the regional Deputy Prime Minister – the Chairman of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziyev and representatives of various confessions took part in a traditional ceremonial event the Izge Bolgar zhiyeny  held in the Ancient town of Bolgar, and which this year is dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria. 

On 21 May at the Bolgar Islamic Academy, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, Russian Deputy Minister of Culture-the Secretary of the Federal Committee on celebrations of the 100th anniversary Olga Yarilova took part in a ceremony of cancelling a memorial post stamp dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria.

On May 20, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Under Secretary of the Foreign Trade and Industry at the UAE Ministry of Economy Abdulla Al Saleh, who arrived to take part in ceremonial events dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of adopting Islam by the Volga Bulgaria.

On May 20, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Russian Federation Gulnara-Klara Samat, who handed in the state award of her country - the Order «Dostuk» (Order of «Friendship) to Tatarstan President.

On May 20, at their meeting at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Cetre on the sidelines of the XIII International Economic Summit Russia – Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022, Tatarstan President  Rustam Minnikhanov and Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Osman Husain Osman Eldirdir discussed issues of strengthening relations with Tatarstan under the Russian-Sudanese cooperation.
