In Vladivostok Tatarstan and Khakassia have signed an agreement on cooperation

On 6 September at their meeting on the sidelines of the Far East Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the Government of Khakassia Valentin Konovalov signed an agreement on trade-economic, scientific and technical and social and cultural cooperation. In addition they also signed an Action Plan for 2022-2024  aimed at implementation of the agreement.

Speaking to Konovalov, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Cooperation between our regions has a potential to develop in many spheres. Right now out trade turnover is not very big – about 20m roubles. We are ready to increase deliveries of KAMAZ trucks, their spare parts and tyres.”

He also mentioned increasing direct deliveries from Tatkhinphampreparaty Pharmaceuticals Company and centralized deliveries of household and medical refrigerators as promising spheres of cooperation. 

In his turn the Head of Khakassia said “We are interested in deliveries of your technique as it has gained a reputation as a reliable one”. 

The previous agreement between the regions was signed in 2016 which resulted in two official KAMAZ dealerships in Khakassia and deliveries of Kazan Organic Synthesis and Nafis plants to the republic.
