Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has sent a telegram to Vice-President, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and the Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressing his condolences on occasion of death of the President of the UAE Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

On 13 May at their meeting in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the National Medical research center of the Russian Health Ministry Radiology Center Andrey Kaprin and the Director of the National Medical Research Center of Therapy and Preventive Medicine Oksana Drapkina, who came on a working visit to Kazan to take part in the Volga Oncological Forum,  discussed issues of further development and improvement of the cancer care in region, implementation of the regional project of Fighting against cancer and cooperation in support and interaction  of professional associations and societies in healthcare.

On 13 May at their meeting in the Government house of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Andrey Omelchuk discussed issues of cooperation in education and development of a number of spheres in the scientific work.

On 12 May in the Kazan Aircraft Plant after Gorbunov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is the Chairman of Board of Directors,  chaired a regular meeting of the PJSC  Tupolev Board  with participation of Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Oleg Bocharov, Director General of the PJSC UAC and the Vice-President of the All-Russian Branch Amalgamation “SoyuzMash (the Union of Machine-builders)  of Russia Yuriy Slyusar, the Managing Director of the PJSC Tupolev Vadim Korolev and Director of the Kazan Aircraft Plant Nikolay Savitskikh.

On 12 May, speaking at a meeting on development of regional industry held at the Kazan Gunpowder Plant, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the main objective for today  is to ensure stable workflow and development of enterprises. 

Before the meeting Minnikhanov got acquainted with work of the plant training center which is equipped with modern devices and virtual simulators, making it possible to simulate different industrial and emergency situations.

On May 11, in the Tatar State Philharmonic named after Tukay, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolaev took part in the evening dedicated to the completion of the interregional patriotic marathon "Feat in the rear" in honor of the builders of the Kazan Defensive Perimeter and the Sur Defensive Line.

On May 11, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had s meeting with Head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolaev, who arrived in Kazan to participate in the solemn event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the completion of the construction of the Kazan Defensive Perimeter and Sur Defensive Line.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the regions in the sphere of economy, culture and education and the implementation of some joint projects. Minnikhanov handed in the state award of Tatarstan - the medal of “100 years of the Establishment of TASSR” to Nikolaev.

On 11 May, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Vasil Shaykhraziyev told about the celebrations of the 1100th anniversary of adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria which include 150 separate events and will be held in the current May.

On 10 May during his working trip to Leninogorsk region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Olympic Reserve children's and youth sports school in ski jumping and Nordic combination, which has been working in the city since 1975 and trained more than 7 000 athletes, including 42 Masters of Sports, more than 100 Candidate Masters of Sports and more than 1000 sportsmen with an official rating who have not once won All-Russia and international competitions.

On 10 May during his working trip to Leninogorsk region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the local cemetery and laid flowers on the grave of the Hero of the Russian Federation Damir Islamov, who was the commander of the Т-72Б1 tank crew and died in action on 7 March 2022 during the special military operation in the Ukraine.
