On 4 May at its meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic, the Board of Directors of the Grid Company considered issues of the reliability of the customers’ electricity supply, outcomes of the industrial and financial and economic work in 2021, the implementation of the capital construction of the company, events organized within the implementation of the Grid Company information systems development in 2019-2024 and the Strategy of the company’s digital transformation till 2025. The Board also approved revenue and expenditure budget and the capital construction plan for 2022.

On 4 May, speaking at a briefing about implementation of road works programmes in the Tatarstan held in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Transport and Public Road System Farit Khanifov said that more than 46bn roubles have been made in the budget estimates for road works programme in 2022, including 1.25bn from the municipal road fund. He informed that it is planned to build 52.5 km of roads and repair 610.3km.

On April 30, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the tenth regional iftar.

The regional iftar has been held in Tatarstan since 2013. This year, over 8,000 people took part in the event. Among those invited are large and low-income families, people with disabilities, orphans and others. Representatives of state authorities, religious and public figures also took part in the iftar. Numerous volunteers were involved in the organization.

On 30 April, speaking at a videoconference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with all municipalities in the Government House of the republic, the regional Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said that situation with the trade stock in the food market of the republic remains stable and the amount of basic products in the shop chains and distribution centers is enough to satisfy the demand of the population of the republic.

On April 30, in the square near the Kazan-2 railway station, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the international campaign “Garden of Memory” and planted trees in the square. In total, trees such as larch, poplar, mountain ash and spruce are planted in the park.
