On 1 September Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev took part in an opening ceremony of a poly-lingual educational complex Adymnar in Nizhnekamsk.

The school will teach 1 224 children and will work together with Nizhnekamskheftekhim, Nizhnekamskshina and TANEKO companies.  

In his address to Tatarstan residents on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has written:

Dear Tatarstan residents, dear teachers and lecturers, employees of the education sphere!

From the bottom of my heart I congratulate schoolchildren, students of community colleges and universities, representatives of our multi-thousand teaching community with a kind and jolly holiday – the Day of Knowledge.

On August 31, on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemistry Forum at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the United Arab Emirates Suhail Mohamed Faraj Al Mazrouei.

“We see how the United Arab Emirates is developing, we rejoice at your successes and learn a lot from you. Today, the geopolitical situation is difficult. We are grateful to you that the Russian-Emirati relations are preserved and developing dynamically,” Minnikhanov said.

On August 31, speaking at the International Research-to-Practice Conference “The EU’s Decision Towards Decarbonization. One Year After” held under the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemistry Forum at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan pays great attention to improving the ecological safety of production.

On 31 August Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE Suhail Mohammed Faraj Al Mazroui , Bahrain Minister of Oil and Ecology Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dainah , Assistant of the Head of Russian President’s Office Anatoliy Yanovskiy and the President of Russia’s Union of Oil and Gas Producers Gennadiy Shmal took part in an opening ceremony of the Tatarstan Oil, Gas and Petrochemistry Forum held at the Kazan Expo exhibition Center. 

On 30 August Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Sandugach library in Kazan, which was reopened after capital overhaul, and looked around its facilities and the surrounding territory.

On 30 August in the Millennium Park in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Construction Irek Fayzullin, regional Communications Minister Ayrat Khayrullin and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in an opening of a family festival of digital technologies “TatFuture”. 

On 30 August Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Construction Irek Fayzullin, Deputy Governor of Nizhniy Novgorod region Oleg Berkovich, Director of the Tatarstan public fund of Tatar culture after Rashit Vagapov Rifat Fattakhov, Honorary Architect of Russian Federation German Bakulin and others took part in a ceremony of unveiling a monument to a Tatar signer and a founder of the professional Tatar pop-art Rashid Vagapov erected in the garden of  the Tatar Philharmonic Society in Kazan.

In his address to Tatarstan residents on the occasion of the Day of the Republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has written:

“Dear Tatarstan residents! From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you with the main state holiday – the Day of the Republic. Tatarstan is a big family with representatives of various ethnicities and religions living in peace and concord.

On August 29, at the site of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, at the ceremony timed to the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in keys to the new cars to the winners of the regional review competition among municipalities.
