On 30 August Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Sandugach library in Kazan, which was reopened after capital overhaul, and looked around its facilities and the surrounding territory.

The library facilities include reading rooms, co-working places, the main hall for large events and meetings and a workroom for classes and discussions of creative projects. The library with the book stock of 54 379 books has launched a book ID system, fire and security IT systems and general administration software integrating information from all RFID-devices.

Sandugach library built in 1989 is one of the most visited in Kazan and before the overhaul it had about 5 thousand subscribers. In front of the library there are hammocks, benches and bike-lanes for outside activities.
