On 2 April the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Energy Sergey Tsivilev took part in a business breakfast organized by the Novikom Bank on the sidelines of the Tatarstan Energy Forum Energoporm at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center.
Welcoming participants of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of the Novikom Bank Elena Georgieva said that the bank has been working with Tatarstan enterprises for more than 30 years. In December 2023 it signed a partnership agreement with the Government of the republic. “I sincerely wish colleagues to find necessary business bonds and new interesting projects which will be for the benefit of the Russian industry and the fuel and energy complex,” she said.
Sergey Tsivilev gave high evaluation to the Tatarstan Energy Forum and said: “This forum is very important for the power branch of the country. We are facing big challenges such as huge demand in electric power, modernization of our whole power industry complex, construction of new facilities and solution of issues of energy accumulation and storage. All these tasks require a single approach and we should work as an integrated team.”
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the Novikom Bank is the backbone of the Rostech State Corporation and a reliable partner of Tatarstan. “A number of enterprises of the republic, including the KAMAZ, aircraft and helicopter plants are the part of the Rostekh State Corporation,” he said and thanked the Russian Minister of Energy for the attention given to the Tatarstan Energy Forum.
The participants of the breakfast also discussed issues of training specialists for the power industry, prospects of the financial market development and others.
