Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of the United Aircraft Corporation Vadim Badekha discuss issues of development of Kazan Aircraft Plant

On 11 March, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic held with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Director General of the United Aircraft Corporation Vadim Badekha discussed the progress of modernization and technical re-equipment of the Kazan Aircraft Plant, which is a branch of the Tupolev Company, for expanding production of TU 214 planes. Today, the plant is carrying out extensive work on the construction and commissioning of new production facilities and in the future it is planned to increase the production of TU-214 up to 20 planes a year.
