On 8 August upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport the Malaysia King Sultan Ibrahim was welcomed by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The King of Malasya came to Kazan during his first official visit to Russia and a day before he had a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

On 8 August at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Yevgeniy Markov and the Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Ivan Sovetnikov, who came to Kazan to take part in an All-Russia meeting on reforestation and afforestation, discussed issues of cooperation and the development of joint forestry projects.

On 8 August at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Chairman of the International Federation of Teqball Viktor Huszár discussed cooperation in the development of teqball which reminds a table tennis with elements of football in the republic.

On 6 August during his working trip to Kukmor region the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of handing over 57 new school buses to cities and regions of the republic which will be sent to educational institutions of 20 municipalities.

On 6 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony of opening a new building of Kukmor comprehensive school №3 which will house 375 primary school children.

On 6 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the regional Minister of Food and Agriculture Marat Zybbarov and the Head of Kukmor region Sergey Dimitriev came on a working trip to the region where he got acquainted with the progress of harvesting work.

On 5 August, speaking at his meeting with National Leader of Turkmen People, the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow held in the traditional friendly atmosphere on the sidelines of the  Third Conference of the UN on landlocked developing countries held in the Awaza Congress Center of the City of Turkmenbashi, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov thanked  Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow for his attention to Tatarstan and expressed his gratitude for participation in the KazanForum, where the National Leader of Turkmen People is always welcome as the guest of honor.

On 5 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov as a member of a Russian delegation headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitriy Patrushev took part in a plenary session of the Third Conference of the UN on landlocked developing countries held in the Awaza Congress Center of the City of Turkmenbashi  and a welcoming meeting of the National Leader of Turkmen People, the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and the UN General Secretary António Guterres with guests of honor of the Forum.

On 4 August upon his arrival to the Turkmenbashi International Airport late in the evening, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was welcomed by Turkmenistan Minister of Finance and Economy Mammetguly Astanagulov, the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin and other high rank officials of the host country. 

On 2 August, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Our Yard programme coordinator, the Head of the City Environment Development programmes of the Institute of the Development of Tatarstan Cities Arina Petrova reported about the work progress , having told that under the “Our Yard” programme road works have been completed by 82% and outdoor lighting works  by 83% .
