Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the 18th session of the State Council of VII convocation

On 19 February the Rais (Head) of Tatrstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the 18th session of the State Council of the republic of the VII convocation held by the Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, the agenda of which consisted of 24 issues, including 11 regional and five federal draft laws.

The members of the Council elected justices of the peace of Tatarstan to a number of judicial districts and made a decision to terminate the powers of the people’s deputy Azat Ziganshin early in connection with his appointment to the post of Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the republic on January 12.

Speaking to the members of the Council, Azat Ziganshin said: “It is a great honor and responsibility for me to be awarded the attention and trust of the Rais of the republic It goes without saying that I will use all my strength, energy, knowledge and experience to justify this trust”.

The regional Minister of Internal Affairs Damir Satretdinov reported the participants of the meeting about results of work of the police in 2025 and said that the focus of police officers was on improving the effectiveness of the fight against cybercrime.  In 2025, 25,000 such crimes were recorded, which is more than half of all registered crimes in the republic and the police solved more than 4 thousand criminal offenses of this category  and 2.5 thousand persons have been identified .

Then the Ombudsperson of the republic Sariya Saburskaya told the meeting about results of her work in 2025 and said that the key priority was the support of soldiers of the special military operation and their families. She also said that 411 inspections and meetings were organized to review notifications in the State Information System "People's Control", 27 of which involved travel to districts of the republic in 2025.

In addition, an exhibition dedicated to the centenary of the Dynamo physical education and sports society and which introduces visitors to the history and achievements of the sports society opened today in the lobby of the State Council.
