On 5 Septemebr the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnihanov visited a multifunctional dental polyclinic of Kazan Federal University with the capacity of 14 000 patients a year,  which underwent capital overhaul in 2021-2023.

On 5 September at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Permanent Representative of Russia in WTO Dmitriy Lyakishev discussed issues of developing foreign trade under the restrictive measures, search for new sales markets and supporting exporting enterprises. 

On 4 September, speaking at his meeting with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov , who came on a working trip to Tajikistan , said: “Even though our trade turnover has been increasing lately, its volume is still insufficient. We are interested in expansion of the presence of leading Tatarstan companies in the Tajikistan market for strengthening economic ties between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation.”

On 2 September, speaking at a ceremony of opening of a new terminal of Beguishevo Airport in Tatarstan, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the construction of the new terminal was the result of the growing passengers flow in the airport.

“Today we are opening the new terminal which corresponds to all air transport requirements. The next stage is to fix the runway. It is a wonderful airport which will be 100 per cent in demand as about 1m people are living nearby,” the Rais of Tatarstan underlined. 

On 2 Septemebr the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the construction of Alekseyevskoye-Almetyevsk highway, which will be 145 kilometers long and is one of the sections of the Europe-West China corridor. 

The Rais of the republic drove along the completed section of the highway and talked to road construction workers, having mentioned that traffic in this direction keeps growing every year. 

On 1 September, summarizing results of the children’s’ summer recreation at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said  that it was organized for 148 thousand children and teenagers, including 2 337 children of the mobilized and 490 children from Lisichansk. “It is a big programme. I think it is unique in the country. There are few places where it is possible to organize recreation for such number of children,” he said.

On 1 September, speaking at a regional meeting in the Government House of the republic, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that 500 thousand people attended events dedicated to the Day of Republic.

”This week a number of large-scale events were organized in Tatarstan. All celebrations were held at a very high organizational level and 500 thousand people attended them. This is a huge number”, he said.  

On 1 September Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitriy Chernyshenko accompanied by Tatarstan Deputy Prime-Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov visited the Innopolis Lyceum where he gave an open lesson about fidgital sports, dedicated to innovational development and raising the harmonious generation.

On 1 September the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitriy Chernyshenko, who came on a working trip to Kazan, and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the new 17-storeys students’ dorm “The Student’s Home” of the Kazan Aircraft University which will house 620 people and has the total area of about 16 400 square meters. 

On 1 September Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitriy Chernyshenko and the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the University of Innopolis where they took part in a ceremony of opening three new dorms and congratulated the freshmen with the beginning of the new academic year. 

In 2023 the University enrolled 432 freshmen from 18 countries having selected them from 11 216 applicants from Europe, North and South Americas, Africa, Asia, the CIS, Australia and Oceania, and speaking at the ceremony Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is one of the leading regions in digital transformation, with Innopolis occupying a special place in development of digital skills.
