Rustam Minnikhanov: Municipalities of the republic are doing much work to support participants of the special military operation and their families

On 19 December, speaking at the XIX congress of the Association of the Tatarstan Council of Municipalities held with participation of the Chairman of the regional State Council Farid Mukhametshin and the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that the main challenge for all of us under current conditions is the successful completion of the special military operation (SMO) and the whole country is mobilized for providing a victory.

He emphasized that municipalities of the republic are doing much work to support participants of the special military operation and their families, rehabilitation and employment of the SMO veterans and humanitarian help to military units and sponsored cities. The Rais of the republic said that work with families of the fallen is especially important.

“We are especially proud of our colleagues who have left their positions of heads of settlements and joined the Armed Forces of the country and are taking part in the SMO,” he said and, having named those who are currently fighting at the operation, wished them to come back safe and sound as soon as possible.

Rustam Minnikhanov also emphasized that residents of the republic defend interests of our Motherland at the SMO and fight for sovereignty and the future of our country and said: “Our task is to ensure the support of soldiers and their families. It is our duty!”

He also named those heads of municipalities who often go to the front and quickly respond to the demands of soldiers and added: “Thank you and the whole deputy’s corps for constant support of participants and veterans of the SMO, attention given to their families and the direct contact with people.”
