On 20 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Maksut Shadayev, Russian Deputy Minister of Transport Dmitriy Bakanov, the Director General of the Agency on Development of Professions and Skills Robert Urazov and heads of leading IT companies took part in a plenary session, of the International Forum Kazan Digital Week-2023 held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center. Speaking at the plenary session, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the forum has become one of business cards of Tatarstan.
On 20 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Maksut Shadayev, Russian Deputy Minister of Transport Dmitriy Bakanov and the Director General of the Agency on Development of Professions and Skills Robert Urazov took part in a ceremony of opening the International forum Kazan Digital Week-2023 and the V branch championship in digital technologies DigitalSkills-2023 at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center.
On 19 September, during his working trip to Moscow, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a strategic session dedicated to the infrastructure development strategy, which was held by Russian Chairman of the Government Mikhail Mishustin.
Having stated, that the Government is implementing large scale projects in improvement of appearance of cities and settlements, Mishustin said: “Special attention should be paid to Donetsk, Lugansk, Herson and Zaporozhye regions where it is necessary to develop the urban environment according to the same standards as in all other Russian entities as soon as possible.”
On 19 September, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin informed that the preparation of the utilities sector facilities to the coming heating season is nearly finished with all works completed by 99.9 per cent.
The Innopolis Innovational Center will take an active part in the coming International Forum Kazan Digital Week 2023 to be held in the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center on 20-22 September by representing solutions of companies-residents of the Special Economic Zone of Innopolis, showing developments of students and the faculty of the Innopolis University, and signing agreements important for the innovational center.
In conclusion of his working trip to Kazan, Uzbekistan Prime Minister Abdulla Oripov accompanied by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the exhibition of the industrial potential of the republic.
On 18 September at its 45th extended session in Saudi Arabia, the World Heritage Committee passed a decision to inscribe Astronomical observatories of Kazan University into the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The work on promotion of the observatories into the World Heritage List was done from 2019 with the support of the Tatarstan Revival Find under supervision of the State Counselor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, who is the UNESCO Good Will Ambassador.
On 18 September at their meeting in Kazan the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Uzbekistan Prime Minister Abdulla Oripov discussed cooperation between their republics.
Welcoming the guest, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized the role of good relations between Presidents Valdimir Putin and Shavkat Mirziyoyev in developing cooperation. “We highly appreciate the possibility of expanding the interaction with Uzbekistan within the framework of friendly Russia-Uzbekistan relations,” he stated.
On 18 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Uzbekistan Prime Minister Abdulla Oripov visited School 21 in Kazan, where the delegation from Uzbekistan was told about principles of work in the campus. Today there are more than 4 thousand students studying at such schools in Russia, including more than 900 students in Kazan.
The age of students varies from 17 to 63 years and their geography covers all Russia and 5 countries, including Uzbekistan.
On 18 September the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Uzbekistan Prime Minister Abdulla Oripov, who came on a working trip to Tatarstan, visited the Bashir Rameev IT Park in Kazan, where Abdulla Oripov was demonstrated the opportunities of the new technical park, in particular the work of Children’s IT Park.
