On 17 December during his working trip to Bukhara the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Hokim of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov visited the construction site of the Special Industrial Park “Bukhara complex of development of Industry”. Tatarstan helps Uzbekistan colleagues with its consultation on the park establishment and currently there is a construction of two shops for manufacture of polymer pipes and polyethyleneterephthalate fiber with the total area 93 thousand square meters which will be commissioned in the second quarter of 2025.
At his meeting with the Hokim of the region Botir Zaripov the Rais of Tatarstan highly estimated the opportunities provided for strengthening mutual partnership of the region within the framework of friendly Russia-Uzbekistan relations. ”We are grateful to Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his special attention to the development of Tatarstan-Uzbekistan cooperation and his readiness to facilitate implementation of joint projects,” he emphasized.
After having mentioned that the Uzbekistan President has already visited Kazan twice this year, Rustam Minnikhanov said that cooperation with Uzbekistan develops rapidly.
The parties of the meeting also discussed in detail issues of the development of the Bukhara industrial park, including training of specialists for its future residents.
In the conclusion of the meeting the Rais of Tatarstan stated that leaders of both countries attach special attention to implementation of new projects in Bukhara and Navoi regions. “These landmark projects are a good contribution into strengthening partnership of our countries. We should implement them at the highest level for the interests of inter-state cooperation,” he added.
