Azerbaijan President hands in Rais of Tatarstan the Order Dostlug

On 17 December at their meeting in Baku the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev handed in the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov the Order Dostlug (Friendship) for his special merits in the development of friendly, economic and cultural bonds between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan. 

“You do a lot for strengthening our bonds. I wish success and prosperity to the friendly people of Tatarstan,”- Ilham Aliyev said. 

In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the long term friendship of Azerbaijan and Tatarstan is supported by personal warm relations, which Heydar Aliyev and Mintimer Shaimiev had.
