Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a ceremony of handing in new trolleybuses manufactured in Belarus to Kazan

On 19 December the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in a ceremony of handing in new 29 trolleybuses manufactured in Belarus to the City of Kazan held in front of the City Hall.

At the ceremony it was said that it has already become a good tradition to pass modern passenger transport manufactured in Belarus to the city on the New Year ’s Eve. Currently this model of the vehicle is supplied only to Kazan.

After Rustam Minnikhanov looked round the interior of the trolleybus and talked to representatives of the Metroelectrotrans Enterprise who will operate the vehicles, he said: “It is decent and high quality machinery” and thanked Belarus partners.
