Asgat Safarov: ”Dynamo” gave start to mass and popular sports movement in our country

On 29 January in his congratulatory address dedicated to the 99th anniversary of the establishment of the Dynamo Fitness and Sports Society of Tatarstan, the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, who is also the Chairman of the Dynamo Society in the republic, congratulated members of the society and its fans with the anniversary and said: “In our country ”Dynamo” gave start to a real mass and popular sports movement and has preserved as a united team. Today Dynamo is the only public-state sports organization working in all regions of Russia and taking part in solving state tasks in physical education and sports.

History of the big and glorious family of Dynamo is closely intertwined with history of our country The Society has revived boxing, played an important role in the establishment and development of shooting, fencing and sambo. It was in Dynamo that such new kind of sports as sport medicine appeared. Athletes and coaches of the society heroically fought at fronts of the WWII, prepared specialists in various fields and forged the victory at home front. This is especially important in the Year of Defenders of the Fatherland announced in Russia and Tatarstan.

Dynamo unites 32 physical culture teams which represent all law enforcement bodies and other sports organizations comprising more than 25 thousand people.

Residents of the republic are especially proud of Dynamo teams in grass hockey, volleyball and field hockey and many players of our teams are members of national Russian teams in these kinds of sports.

The Dynamo Fitness and Sports Society of Tatarstan continues to develop involving more and more people, promoting healthy life style, ensuring high level of professional training of law-enforcement officers and systemic development of children and teenagers sports.”

In conclusion Asgat Safarov wished members and old stagers of the society good health, prosperity and new sports achievements for the benefit of Russia.
