On the eve of the Day of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov has handed in state awards

On 29 August at an official ceremony held in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed in state awards of Russian and Tatarstan to 50 residents of the republic, including representatives of industrial enterprises and organizations, medical workers, philanthropists and defenders of the Fatherland. 

Tatarstan President said that the republic is the leading and backbone region of Russia due to constructive work of many generations of residents and support from the federal center and the President of the country Vladimir Putin. 

He stated that the awards are handed in on the eve of the Day of the Republic and expressed his gratitude to awardees for their work for the benefit of the country.
