Rustam Minnikhanov and Valeriy Falkov have visited Chemical and Technological Institute in Nizhnekamsk

On 26 August Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Falkov, who came on a working trip to Tatarstan, visited the Chemical and Technological Institute of the Kazan Chemical and Technical University in Nizhnekamsk which currently is the main supplier of specialists for petrochemical plants and refineries of Kama agglomeration.

The Acting rector of the University Yuriy Kazakov told the guests the history of the university and stages of its development and establishment of the branch and made a presentation of the University scientific and educational campus project and university projects by the Advanced Engineering Schools programme. In particular the school will develop sustainable technological chains of low-tonnage chemistry products.

Yuriy Kazakov informed that the School will have several key partners such as three branch companies,  namely SIBUR, Gazprom and Ammonia, and two IT companies and told Minnikhanov and Falkov about the nearest infrastructural projects of the University.
