On 12 October prior to a plenary session of the International Forum “Russian Energy Week” held in Moscow, in the presence of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of the Rosatom Corporation Aleksey Likhachev and Rector of Kazan State Power Engineering University Edvard Abdullazyanov signed an agreement of cooperation.

On 12 October, welcoming participants of the X International Specialized Exhibition “Road 2022” held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said: “It is a great honor for us to host such an important event in the capital of our republic - Kazan. Today Tatarstan is implementing large scale ambitious projects in various spheres, the main objective of which is to increase life quality of people. It is impossible to imagine today’s life without highways and automotive vehicles. Development of economy branches of the state directly depend on quality and safety of highways. High quality and safe roads are a guarantee of economic stability”.

On 12 October Tatarstan Presdient Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working trip to Moscow, held a regular meeting of the Board of the Tupolev Aerospace and Defense Company which discussed issues of current operation of the enterprises and other burning questions. Members of the Board also prepared an activities draft plan for the future.

On 11 October, speaking at his meeting with Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working trip to the Republic, said: “I would like to express gratitude to you for special attention given to the development of cooperation of our republics aimed at strengthening relations between Russia and Uzbekistan”.

On 11 October Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a working trip to Uzbekistan, visited Birinchi Rezinotexnika Zavodi - an industrial rubber plant in the City of Angren, which produces conveyor belts and agricultural and car tyres.

During the visit, Rustam Minnikhanov was shown plant shops and told about specificities of production technology and its annual output of 3m car and 200 000 agricultural tyres.

On October 10, during his working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Tashkent, where he met the khokim of the Tashkent region Zoyir Mirzaev.

Tatarstan President thanked the khokim for his proactive approach to the development of the Chirchik chemical-industrial technopark, which is a joint project of Khimgrad Company and Uzbek partners.

On October 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The programme includes visiting a number of enterprises, opening a branch of the Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University in the city of Jizzakh, meeting with the Khokims of the regions. The delegation included the heads of a number of large enterprises, as well as companies interested in developing cooperation with Uzbekistan.

On October 8, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin took part in the closing ceremony of the II World Construction Championship and awarding of winners.

Minnikhanov thanked Russian Ministry of Construction and Rosatom State Corporation for choosing Kazan the venue for the event, as well as the platform «Russia - the country of opportunities» and the Gazprom company for the joint fruitful work.
