On October 10, during his working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Tashkent, where he met the khokim of the Tashkent region Zoyir Mirzaev.
Tatarstan President thanked the khokim for his proactive approach to the development of the Chirchik chemical-industrial technopark, which is a joint project of Khimgrad Company and Uzbek partners.
“Today there are 6 resident companies operating in its territory. Work on locating 6 new production companies is underway. I am sure with your support the Technopark will successfully develop,” Tatarstan President emphasized.
Minnikhanov also said that a representative delegation of Tatarstan, which includes heads of ministries and departments, educational institutions and representatives of business circles, is working in the Tashkent region these days.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the development rate of the Chirchik technopark, and Tatarstan President focused on the improvement of its activity. They also discussed issues of sharing experience. In particular, the Tashkent side is interested in studying design issues in construction, development of public spaces, as well as the practice of introducing glampings. “We will organize a visit of our specialists in different industries. We will work individually on all issues of interest to you and our businessmen, Tatarstan President concluded.
