Rustam Minnikhanov and Irek Faizullin award winners of the II World Construction Championship

On October 8, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin took part in the closing ceremony of the II World Construction Championship and awarding of winners.

Minnikhanov thanked Russian Ministry of Construction and Rosatom State Corporation for choosing Kazan the venue for the event, as well as the platform «Russia - the country of opportunities» and the Gazprom company for the joint fruitful work.

Addressing the participants of the championship, Tatarstan President emphasized their high level of competence. “You are the best. The golden gene pool of the construction industry of Russia has gathered here. We are proud of having such a powerful potential. More than once our students have proven their skills at the World Skills Championships. I am very pleased that Tatarstan youth has also demonstrated their abilities», Minnikhanov added.

Then Tatarstan President and Russian Minister of Construction awarded the winners of the championship in a number of nominations.

This Construction Championship is the world’s largest industrial construction event, held  at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre from 5 to 8 October.
