Rustam Minnikhanov: In 2024 small oil companies of the republic produced 6.9m tonnes of oil

On 28 February, speaking at a meeting held with heads of small oil companies of the republic held in the Government House of the republic, which discussed results of their work in 2024 and tasks for 2025, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said in 2024 the oil production in Russia amounted to 516m tonnes. “Last year the republic produced 33.84m tonnes with small oil companies share being 6.8m tonnes,” he said. 

The Director General of the PSC Nefteconsortzium MNK Rafael Mingazov reported to participants of the meeting that 24 small companies overproduced the planned amounts and the amount of products shipped by all companies made 305.3bn rubles which was by 21 per cent more than in 2023. He informed that the companies paid 280.1bn rubles of taxes to budgets of all levels including 11.3bn paid into the local budget. 

Rafael Mingazov also told that in 2024 companies set into operation 212 new wells and plan to commission 180 more in the current year. 

The Head of Volga Directorate of the Rostekhnadzor (the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision) Azat Mubarakshin told the meeting about the compliance by small oil companies with industrial and environmental safety requirements  and the Head of the Volga-Kama Interregional Directorate of the Rosprirodnadzor (the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources) Fayaz Shakirov informed about work carried out with small oil companies for ensuring timely issuance of comprehensive ecological permissions .

In conclusion of the meeting the Deputy Director of the Kazan Branch of the State Commission of natural deposits Ravil Mutygullin reported about work done by the institution in 2024.
