Rustam Minnikhanov gives an errand to ensure safety of conducting religious ceremonies and services in places of worship of the republic

On 1 March at a regular meeting held in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to ensure safety of conducting religious ceremonies and services in places of worship of the republic.

“Traditionally many residents of the republic joined the Muslim fast during Ramadan which began yesterday and the Great Lent begins on 3 March. Additional sermons and Iftars will be traditionally held in all mosques of the republic, “he said and emphasized that heads of religious organizations and municipalities together with law-enforcement bodies should take measures for ensuring public order and safety when holding the events.
