Rustam Minnikhanov: KAMAZ is the pride of our country and republic

On 13 December the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov and the Director General of the KAMAZ Automaker Company Sergey Kogogin took part in a ceremonial event held in the organ hall in Naberezhnyye Chelny and dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the Company.

Speaking at the event Sergey Kogogin congratulated the company employees with the jubilee date and emphasized that in its everyday work the big team of the plant keeps the best and builds the future of Kama auto giant.

“Our KAMAZ has always been the first. For the first time in the world it was decided to build such a huge plant for manufacturing commercial vehicles. For the first time in the world a vehicle was designed by specialists of the Soviet Union. Everyone wanted to build a large scale enterprise for manufacturing big diesel trucks. Otherwise our country would not be able to develop,” he said.

In his turn Rustam Minnikhanov  said that even though there were difficult times in the history of KAMAZ, it continues developing successfully and manufactures the most modern world level vehicles due to systemic and well-coordinated work of its team. “I thank the whole team of the plant for work you are doing. KAMAZ is the pride of our country and republic,“ he emphasized and handed in the plant the Order for Valorous Labor.
