Rustam Minnikhanov and Irek Fayzullin visit Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering

On 20 January upon their arrival to the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering  the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Russian Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin looked round an exposition “We are protecting our Motherland” which tells about students and the faculty of the university who protected the Motherland during the Great Patriotic War (WWII), the special military operation and took part in the international mission in Afghanistan.

The guests also got acquainted with the progress of implementation of the project of the Tatarstan Processes Management Center (incident-management system for the operation of social facilities) and looked round the Museum of the University history, where Irek Fayzullin was shown his uniform when he worked in a student’s construction team.

After the presentation of R&D works of young scientists of the University, the guests were demonstrated the new research and education center “Long-term durability”, which develops skills of students and interns in defining durability of construction materials and their control at various stages, starting from design and ending with the operation of buildings and facilities. Rustam Minnikhanov and Irek Faizullin also got acquainted with work of laboratories on accelerated climate testing, on the technology of manufacturing composite materials and on composites digital simulation.
